Total hk/ptr noob here
Does anyone have experience with the newer century c308 rifles? I live in MD where my options are limited and was interested in buying one this week as opposed to an AR10 or 308 VEPR. These are my only legal options for a battle rifle and I already own a 54r VEPR. Due to the utter retardation of this state, the c308 is legal but 308 ptr rifles are not.
Am I about to throw away $699 on drunken monkey manufacturing or are the newer century c308's any good?

I pretty much never shoot more than 10 rounds at a time so that is all I will load up right before I line up to shoot... I tried my new sand 40 round on at with a 40 round mag dump and got bored half way through... I have three Pmags loaded with my 75gr bthp hot loads and the dust covers on.

I keep all my AR mags loaded to full capacity whenever I can.
But that takes over 1000 rounds of ammo.
So sadly, over half of my AR mags are empty atm.
Pistol mags is another story, 15+ mags for the P226, all loaded to full capacity with plenty of 9mm to spare.

An AR-15 is not your grandpa's 12 gauge. It requires careful maintenance and can be a finnicky little bitch.
