get some decent lube. Google "decent AR15 lube". Can use RemOil in a pinch.

An AR-15 is not your grandpa's 12 gauge. It requires careful maintenance and can be a finnicky little bitch.

New weapons have factory grease which is good for storing a gun, but not for operating it.
First clean it thoroughly, then lube it with any "decent AR-15 lube".
