Looking for an AK in south Alabama

Have fun with that
What is gunbroker, what is armslist, and what are gun stores
With how simple jet engines are, why weren't they weaponised sooner?

Because the materials of the early 20th century were not strong and heat-resistant enough to build a gas turbine with a high TWR.
Where where you when DS Arms got its ass beaten by a Century-made rifle?

>mud tests
lol nice one, really made me reconsider my choices
No
Any weapon can and will malfunction
It is the soldiers job to clean and maintain his weapon.
If your fucking rifle gets dropped in the mud
CLEAN IT OFF
M1 Garands got caked in mud and you cleaned it off before picking off another nazi or jap...
I suck at shooting, I wear glasses and my eyes arent the best. I can't see where rounds are hitting on the target until I retrieve... Currently I'm weaponless and I don't have a whole lot of money. All the guys guys at work brag about collections and how accurate they are. I enjoy shooting but I have a hard time being accurate. Sold my only rifle I've ever owned last year when I was in financial hardship. Should I just not even bother buying another rifle?
What's your prescription and eye issue?
>>31086642
Hickok45 has an astigmatism in his right eye and that fucker hits a gong at over 100 yards with fucking .45acp handguns all the time.
Git sum glasses and practice.
>>31086642
If you enjoy it, keep it up. Get yourself another rifle. Unless your grouping and accuracy are integral to your self worth, who cares. As long as you are safe and can identify what you're shooting at and are responsible, you're fine. I'd stick to target shooting though
What are some good, cheap shotguns? Pump or Semi preferred.
>>31086544
Remington 1100
>>31086544
Remington 870 or Mossberg 500
>>31086544
I prefer the Ithaca 37.
Continued thread.
are you accepting applications?
for what?
Scenario: You are about to embark on whatever operating fantasy you have, the only thing is that your main rifle must be chambered in 5.56 and CANNOT be an AR or AK variant. What do you trust your life with?
>>31086326
Vz 58 in 5.56
Probably an Aug or tavor
>>31086326
My trusty AR-18 of course.
Post cool /k/-related facts
>>31086298
If you shoot a rifle into the ground and water it often, you'll get a rifle tree.
fact: OP is a faggot
Is there a better 380 for the money than a LCP? Thinking about getting one for my first CCW. I do not want to dress around a gun. Sport shorts and a t-shirt is my normal summer dress.
>>31086210
glock 42, once you change out the horrific trigger and sights
>>31086217
LCP is still a good bit smaller
>>31086267
no doubt, but the g42 is a dream to shoot, has usable sights(once you change the pos plastic ones) and still fits in a pocket as long as you don't wear skinny jeans.
Sup /k/ I just need some quick advice on a potential trade I've been offered. I admittedly don't know shit about battle rifles so I'll turn to you guys. Some dude wants to trade his CETME C308 with 10 mags and wooden furniture kit at face value for my VZ-2008 vz58 Sporter. The pics he sent me look really good imo but I'm not sure if this gun is a POS or not. The price seems to be in the same tier as my vz. What do you guys think. Pic related is what he sent me.

Is this cetme made by century?
>>31086193
>trade Century clone for Century clone
Seems OK. How well does your Vz-2008 run, OP? Also, that's not a C308; it's the older CETME Sporter.
Decided to take the plunge and become an 07FFL, 02 SOT to follow. Cashed in the 401k and invested in machine tools. What would /k/ make with their own machine shop?
>>31086163
pic related, my lathe and mill fresh off the trailer.

Adjustable dovetailed sights for older pistols and maybe for more obscure modern pistols.
Some way effectively mount a fiber optic bead to the bullpup shotguns (DP-12, KSG, UTS-15), maybe as a backup option, with it sitting on a riser in front of whatever electric sight the kids use these days.
>>31086260
I don't think either of those would sell more than like ten units

>>31086133
entire article is tripe. Yeager is a sad old man getting lead around the nose by his wife and aids, isolated from reality and shunned from the airforce proper. If you can engage him he may actually have a moment of lucidity as he relives the past, but the truth is he is a miserable old fuck who nearly had his statue removed from Edwards AFB.
Sorry, but the dude is a mortal man, and a racist/ sexist mother fucker who has zero appreciation of just about anything.
>>31086461
But even he can see the truth.
Explain this /k/.
Are these prices ever going to come down or are they just going to go up and uP and UP AND UP AND UP AND OGIUHWEGWREPUIETWEGUIHGARHGHGHAGHGHG!?!?!!?!
You could buy a really nice AR-10 in .308 plus another gun with the price of a scar.
>>31086077
God that's fucked
>>31086077
Never. Once Hillary is elected you'll have another 10 year or possibly even permanent AWB.
5.56 vs .308 for Dogman?
7.62x39 or .308

this guy supposedly shot one with a 30-06 and it did nothing
which is better for a home defense pistol?
This question has been asked literally at least a million times on the internet. If you can't be bothered doing the most minimal fucking research you're probably too stupid to be trusted with a firearm of any kind.
>>31085993
just soliciting opinions on the ammo, no reason to be mad
>>31085982
really depends on how many intruders you think you may be defending against.
Ammo capacity is really the only reason to even consider one over the other
