I see all you lucky bastards posting pictures of what it's like to go innawoods.
I want to experience it. A tent, supplies, and your rifle. Sounds fucking liberating.
But for the life of me I can't find any public lands in TX. Am I just shit outta luck?
>>31079415
>public land
>Texas
Where do you think you are? New Mexico?
>>31079425
Apparently so.
And here I thought I lived in a cool state.
I'm just so fucking tired of shooting paper in a lane.
>>31079432
Texas is a free state, the people own the land, not the politicians. That is a good thing.
Make some fucking friends.
I have a question for the tactically experienced that would help with a project of mine.
Let's say there is a new, emergent group of individuals that can run abnormally fast. Not like The Flash, but far faster than an olympic runner and has identical stamina. Let's also assume that these people aren't very common. For carrying capacity, a female could easily carry a PDW, secondary, ammo and a few tools all in specially designed holsters and remain almost unhindered in maneuverability with the possibility to carry more for an exchange in agility with males being less affected by trade-offs.
With all of these factors in mind including an increase in caloric consumption, what role would you have them perform on the battlefield if at all?
Running messages
40mph? 70mph?
Why kinda of runner, 100 yard? Marathon?
With only 15lbs of kit?
>>31079451
Let's say 60-70 mph at a dead sprint
Great ability to pace out at 35-40 mph for distances under a mile
Just bought the same gun for really cheap from a coworker who needed money. Is it a total piece of shit? Anyone have experience with it?
>>31079274
Holy 90's
Just a glock clone with a shitty trigger, it'll do ya.
>>31079299
Any way to mod the trigger
I am an international arms dealer operating out of the US entierly legally. Just got a supplier in Pakistan (pic related but old pic). Ask me anything!

>>31079256
Nigger, wtf
OP here I trolled you guys haha! XD
Hey /k/
So that morale thread had me thinking. Why do we not use pharmaceuticals more often in the US to enhance soldier performance and supress physical pain and empathy?
Because stimpaks aren't real
soldiers use amphetamines
stimpaks are real
>>31079193
the US army has a LONG history of giving drugs to soldiers.
>ur med kit came with amphetamines if u were in WW2 and they would get tons of amphetamines b4 any major offensive.
the germans used pektin so the US thought fight drugs with drugs.
Hey guys, my Sergeant is selling his P229 in 9mm, good condition, very minimal holster wear, brand new spring kit. Comes with a case and 3 mags, 2 15s and 1 13.
What is a good price I can come at him with?
Also, QTDDTOT/Advice Thread/Recent Acquisition I guess
are you going to shoot up the base with it
>>31079191
Wrong sergeant, we're LEOs.
Nice meme though.
>>31079199
FUCK DA POLICE BITCH NIGGA!
Whats average distanced a policeman should be able to land a tight group with a handgun? Also do DA guns require more training?
>>31078855
>able to land a tight group with a handgun
Start out with a more defined criteria.
>>31078855
In my academy we had to hit more or less center mass from 25 yards. As for DA being harder to train I'd say it depends on the shooter.
>>31078883
Btw by DA i mean DA to SA autoloaders pistols.
An anon posted this thread a few days ago, and it's a good idea, I'm gonna post some things from there, feel free to add on.

Some links I should have included in OP

>unless of course, you open your stupid commie mouth

>great website for someone who has the experience and software/equipment to machine and mill your own receivers. Has a 1911, 10/22, AK, AR15, AR10, Beretta, and a few other CNC files
Slowly building a 2011 but I'm taking for fucking ever.

Hi mom!!!
(the Glock)
what would /k/ have to say about these pistols?
glock 19 gen 4
Walther ppq
>>31078691
Nice gun. If you get in there with some metal polish and shine up key contact areas, it improves dramatically. How do you like the ppq? I held one in a store and dry fired it but didn't care care for it as much as I thought I would.
>>31078691
This is now the resident Walther Thread
>>31078835
I love the PPQ its ergonomics are perfect for me and it has the smoothest trigger ive ever used. I have not used the Glock yet. I will next weekend. however, Im not expect it to feel better then the PPQ.
>>31078865
Walther yassss
What's your favorite firearm, /k/?

>Gobi campaign scout rifle
Pure fragile dogshit with a scope for retards. Scoped hunting rifle is for true rangers.
Is 9mm Really enough to defend yourself?
Yes. Next question.
Shot placement is king.
Caliber is the court fucking jester.
Federal HST +P will do the job.
If a plane was out at sea and had a fuel leak or something that damaged it and there was no other place to land except a carrier, would the USN allow it?
Idk, sounds doubtful. But if you ditched they'd pick you up I bet
>>31078286
given the overall protectiveness of the USN towards its carriers, the skill set needed to land on a carrier, the size of a carrier deck, and the specialized equipment needed to land on a carrier successfully... no fucking way.
>>31078286
To land on a carrier you need a tail hook. You also need pretty significant structural enhancement to the plane forbthat tail hook to not just rip the back of the plane off as it lands on the carrier.
On top of that the carrier is a very small landing surface and it is rocking in the sea. So let's say, for some reason, a civilian craft DID have a tail hook and the strength needed the pilot would almost certainly not be able to land on a carrier.
If the plane could communicate with the carrier well enough to land it could bail into the water and the crew and passengers would stand a good chance of being rescued alive.
So no, a carrier wouldn't under any normal circumstances even be ABLE to let a civilian craft land on it.
Boycott Smith and Wesson.
>>31078266
They just donated like 500k to GOAL to fight the bullshit the AG of MA tried to pull.
>>31078266
for what reason?
What even is that?
For the American military, which WW2 front saw the most brutal combat?
>>31078235
The Pacific front
See: The Battle for Okinawa and Iwo Jima
>>31078245
Which battles on the Eastern Front were the most brutal?
