You're a police officer working an extra job at a restaurant. A Muslim-looking man walks through the door wearing body armor, carrying a semi-automatic rifle in the low-ready position, geared-out, looking like he's ready to go full tilt, but... you live in an open carry state and he isn't breaking any laws. He begins looking around the room, and he doesn't see you yet, but you have maybe two seconds before he does. Do you...
A) Draw your weapon unload on him, fuck what anybody says. Better to be tried by twelve than carried by six.
B) Wait for him to level his weapon on someone, possibly you, before you draw your weapon and attempt to respond with lethal force, or...
C) Respect his Constitutional rights and approach him and politely ask him to leave the premises because he's making the customers uncomfortable.
Choose!
D. Draw my weapon but don't shoot until I see he's levelled it at someone.

>carrying low-ready
>he isn't breaking any laws
You fucked up.
Kill him immediately.
Slip out the back for a smoke, because I ain't dying for no restaurant security gig.
Whats /k/ opinion of lapg's gear and what are some comfy thing to get that are tactical.
Get a pair of Salomon Quest 4Ds, they're some of the best operating/innawoods boots I've ever put on.
Two steel toes are better than one.

Its not HSLD enough for /k/ but fuck you niggers I like them.
I have a Israeli Surplus FN Hi Power mk2. The dots in the iron sights have lost the white in them. It is a mk2, so I can't replace the front sight. So replacing them is out the question.
What is the best option to fill in the dots?
preferably with out paying for overpriced "gun sight paint".
I used a white-out pen on mine.
>>31098259
White model paint and a toothpick.
>>31098259
You so know the dots are not needed to aim.....
>line up the top of the sights
So /k/, no one wants to go camping innawoods with me, so I've decided to go myself. I have an SKS and I got permission from the guy who's land I'm gonna use (he has a ton of bush and water and hills) and he told me there sometimes are wild animals. Any tips for me? (I've gone camping innawoods before, just never solo). I'll be updating with landscape pictures I take all around my province. This ones from reserve land, I went to a smoke lodge.
This one is of my two guns, the lower one being the one I wanna take with.
>I got to fire a .50BMG this summer
It was preddy gud, but one of my earmuffs came loose when I fired it so I was deaf for a week or two
One of my bunnies just gave birth; this is one of the cutest ones there.
Lads, I'm thinking of moving to the U.S. I've been travelling most of my life, around the world.
Friend of mine has a nice cozy place up north, but apparently there are a few crazies where he lives.
What do you reckon would be the best assault rife to buy?
Make some suggestions and state WHY they are the best assault rifles/ rifles.
Pistols will also do.
Pic unrelated.
For starters, assault rifles are fully automatic weapons. Hence, if it was made after 1989, you can't own one.
>>31098240
I don't know shit about guns but are there any guns that shoot only in burst or burst+semi? If so do those guns go under the entire 1989 rule, the tax stamp, and all of that nonsense?
>>31098396
The year is actually 1986 not 1989 and no, you can only get semi auto rifles
i found this assualt rifle in my dads safe what should i do with it
>>31098139
Take it to the range and shoot it.
>>31098139
Point it at your pee pee and pull the trigger

So North Korea launches another ballistic missile from a sub. What is the proper response to this illegal act?
Another question; what is stopping South Korea, Japan, or the US from parking a vessel in the Sea of Japan and shooting down future ballistic missiles in flight? It would deny the North Koreans the test data they wanted about their own new missiles, wouldn't it?
>>31098127
>what is stopping South Korea, Japan, or the US from parking a vessel in the Sea of Japan and shooting down future ballistic missiles in flight
Nothing.
That's the sort of thing that the SM-3 was created for.
However, it seems like the South has mostly decided that they don't really want to fight with the North directly unless they absolutely have to. This is probably because they don't want to deal with the flood of refugees that would be created if they actually deposed the North Korean regime.
>>31098166
This. They saw what happened to Germany.
>>31098166
They're shooting down an unmanned missile that shouldn't exist in the first place while in flight over international waters. In what way would this trigger a war with a country that is barely able to develop a ballistic missile?
Is letting this go without a response bigger than a harsh statement from the Blue or White House a better option than shooting it down with an SM-3?
Hey /k/!
I've never been on this board before so meme me hard.
I'm looking to purchase an AK-47. What brand should I go for? What type? Is there a handy guide for this? I borrowed a friend of mine's at the range today and man oh man it felt amazing in my hands. It was like having sex and getting a head massage at the same time. Great feeling, I'd love to own one for home protection and for shooting down at a range.
I happen to live in Texas, if that helps. Thanks!
Love,
Tex.
>>31098069
Ive got a SAR1 Romanian cugir for sale if youre interested. One of the better Aks out there
You're not going to get THE AK-47, that is the original, milled-receiver Russian Kalashnikov. Most guns are stamper receiver AKM clones.
Also not every AK in general is "AK-47".
That being said, Arsenal and Vepr are the highest quality AKs on the market, after some pricey snowflake Cadillacs like the Valmet rifles.
N-PAP and WASR are pretty good too.
>>31099210
Imported and surplus parts and mags ONLY
In the AK world U.S made= Bad and poor quality
What do you think of this round?
is good
>>31098065
cheaper than 5.7mm...
>>31098337
And with almost the same ballistics out of a 5" barrel. I think my PMR30 hella fun. So much so that I want the CMR30.
I need a new rifle for taking care of my old/new "ranch".
I grew up in the country on 40 acres of land my dad had bought and built a house on when he was in his twenties.
When i was 15ish we hit hard times and my dad ended up selling my childhood home and we moved in town.
Anyway I recently purchased the land again, the house was torn down by the previous owner but they built a larger if not dated one on the same foundation, its still like i remember
but without the chickens and cow and as i plan to obtain some livestock, maybe a goat or two aswell, ill need something to defend them from racoons, i was thinking the mini 14 but i want to shop around first and get /k/'s opinion.
How much are you willing to spend? An sks might be more bang for your buck.
Mini-14 or AR-15 are objectively your two best options. AR-15 is cheaper and a bit more accurate, Mini-14 is slimmer (important for a gun that will live on a sling or in a truck) and looks prettier.
PSA AR-15 is probably the best bang for your buck, especially if you look out for sales.
What is the objective, meme free tier list for the world's militaries. Is there a /k/ approved list/picture?

i love my job in the AF. there are many moments where i just take a second and think "i've got the coolest job in the world". maybe in a few years when my job isn't to say "2" on the radio a lot i'll feel differently, but for now it's pretty sweet.
what do you want to do with the Marines? what do you feel like the AF's not giving you?
>>31097874
Thanks for replying I've always wanted to do marine intelligence and for the most part am happy with a large number of their career paths as for my Det I feel apathy from many contracted cadets who feel like it would be much better to let us walk into to failure and correct us than teach us before hand and just the terrifying thought of getting a mos way off from your dream list
>>31098003
i thought that outside of Aviation and Legal, you had to compete for everything in the Marines after TBS.
I'll try to answer as much as can
>>31097738
Who is your favorite hero in Overwatch?
Can I stroke your hair?
Additional question. Have you ever seen a ghost?
Is a remington 870 a good turkey gun? Should I get a scope or no? If so then what scope should i get? Also, hunting general I guess
Wingmaster, yes. Express, no. Get 3" magnum shells for turkey, those fuckers are fierce.
>>31097721
There is never a need for a scope on a shotgun, even with slugs.
I've been turkey hunting all my life and I've never needed anything other than a front bead.
Any shotgun will work but a semi-auto like an 1187 works best. You want to be able to take followup shots when hunting fowl.
>>31097757
What's the difference between the wingmaster and the express?
would your CC piece protect you from this?
>>31097629
You mean after I pull a leg out from under her?
She's shifting her weight so she'd easily fall like a $2 card table.
