That's the sort of thing that the SM-3 was created for.

However, it seems like the South has mostly decided that they don't really want to fight with the North directly unless they absolutely have to. This is probably because they don't want to deal with the flood of refugees that would be created if they actually deposed the North Korean regime.

You're not going to get THE AK-47, that is the original, milled-receiver Russian Kalashnikov. Most guns are stamper receiver AKM clones.
Also not every AK in general is "AK-47".

That being said, Arsenal and Vepr are the highest quality AKs on the market, after some pricey snowflake Cadillacs like the Valmet rifles.
N-PAP and WASR are pretty good too.

How much are you willing to spend? An sks might be more bang for your buck.

Mini-14 or AR-15 are objectively your two best options. AR-15 is cheaper and a bit more accurate, Mini-14 is slimmer (important for a gun that will live on a sling or in a truck) and looks prettier.

PSA AR-15 is probably the best bang for your buck, especially if you look out for sales.

There is never a need for a scope on a shotgun, even with slugs.

I've been turkey hunting all my life and I've never needed anything other than a front bead.

Any shotgun will work but a semi-auto like an 1187 works best. You want to be able to take followup shots when hunting fowl.
