Sup /k/, so I was at my local gun shop and I saw a beautiful Beretta 92 used. I've had experience with used guns in the past and it's not so pretty.
This one has wood grips, and a trigger that appears to be modified because it has little to no trigger reset. The external of the pistol looks good but not sure about the internals yet.
Overall the dealer is asking $699 for an Italian 92 with a couple mods it appears. Am I getting fucked /k/? I already put 150 dollars on layaway for it so far and I'm my gut is telling me yes and no.
Help a /k/tard out? And tell me what's best to do?

alright this is what you do

What's Russias plan if the US decided to transfer Desert Storm level forces to the Baltic countries? Rely on their nukes or prepare for a large scale conventional war? Good luck finding a gun show mosin at a reasonable price. Do you have an idea of what kind you want, 91/30, m44, type 53, m38? For any of those the main things to look for are the condition of the bore and barrel crown, counter bored are still functional but less desirable. And the smoothness of the bolt, since many are sticky or haven't been cleaned thoroughly.

Schmidt Rubins are cheap but little ammo
Spanish mausers are rare but cheap and are normally in .308
Enfields are normally 300-400 but you can find new ammo for them
It'll be hard to find a good deal at a gun show, gun stores and gun broker are better
