That deficit number is theoretical and is likely increased in the presence of exercise.

All of that shit is in your head, it has nothing to do with genetics. The first thing you need to do if you want to succeed is to change your mindset, my man. Unfortunately, motivation isn't something that people can impart on you, you have to find it for yourself, as much as I'd like to say the magic words that push you to better yourself. How do you guys get, and stay, motivated? I've been working out off and on for about a year now, but see no gains due to lack of motivation. I struggle to get to the gym, and even when I don't go I KNOW I should be doing stuff at home (running, bodyline, etc.)...
