Joking aside, not much really, your body has very efficient controls in place to bind any extra testosterone and stop it having any effect.
Unless you're deficient in test. But you probably aren't.
You need massive amounts of extra test (injections) to get around these controls your body has.

Why top sprinters of the world are black? Is is true that whites CAN NOT GENETICALLY run faster than black, or is it lack of interest in athletics?

Why black people are bad at weightlifting, if it requires the same explosion and power as 100-meters sprint?

Sup /fit/ I need some dieting advice.

I've put on a fair bit of fat with all these summer barbecue's, parties and eating out at resultants.

I'm back dieting again and need to lose this weight fast so sticking to pure protein for the first week.

Have any of you got suggestions for meals I can eat at work?
Preferably cheap, easy, filling and that don't need cooking since I work 12 hour shifts.

Hey /fit/,
I've started to take Whey Protein about 1-2 weeks ago to be able to build up some mass. For now I took it every morning after eating something and after the workout every second day. But now I'm worried that it might just build up fat instead of muscle.
Does anybody have some tips to avoid that and do you even recommend the use of it?

You should read the sticky.

Fat gain happens when you eat too many calories. It has little to do with protein/carb/fat intake specifically.

How many calories are you eating per day? You can't add mass (muscle) to an object (your body) if you do not have the necessary energy (calories from food). If you are working out and eating a small surplus of calories per fay (around 500 over maintenance levels) then you should really only gain lean mass. If you eat more than that then you will inevitably gain some fat also.

If you eat less than maintenance then you will not gain any mass. You may gain a bit of muscle being that you are a beginner, but nothing like what you would gain were you eating above maintenance calories.

Again, read the sticky, it has a very easy to understand and helpful rundown on how to eat right for your goals.

Whey protein, simply put, is a protein substitute. If we're going off ON basic flavors, we're looking at 24g of protein in 120 calories. Whey protein isn't magic milk. It is protein, fast acting, that can be used to get in some protein as per your macros or after a workout to help replenish what you've torn. But overall 120 calories isn't that "massive".

Check your tdee. Count your calories. Aim for roughly 40/40/20 protein/carb/fat intake. How you integrate your whey protein consumption into that is up to you.

Yeah, fix your diet. Understand that this isn't magicjuice that you're drinking. Plan out your diet properly.

I read the sticky. But i dont think it covered me.
It sais that you need to eat heavy to become big , lifting just determines which % of it goes to muscle/fat.

Have been doing lifts for 10 months but my progress (visual) is considered as a 4-5 months one. Probably havent been eating more.

I'm afraid to eat lots because when i was younger I was fat, and Im afraid of going back to that.

How do I overrun this fear of getting fat?

Is it worth to just eat more without measuring (just to satisfy my hunger) when bulking ?

You risk getting fat/not eating enough by just trying to wing it and guesstimate your calories

This is what I came here to ask. I'm a 5'4 womanlet who used to weigh 150 pounds but through diet and cardio I got down to 120 pounds. I want to start lifting and gaining muscle but I can't bring myself to bulk because it feels so fucking counter intuitive after putting so much effort into losing weight.
I know I can't eat salad all the time but Goddamnit the mental aspect seems insurmountable.
Also, I'm presently on a body weight, dumbbell, and resistance band routine.

Since there's no /med/ and threads about skin are posted here a lot this is about the only place I can think to ask this. It's not a particularly interesting story but I could really use some advice because it's having a massive impact on my life.

>figure it was just stubble/saliva causing some irritation
>doesn't heal after a week
>look for an answer on the internet
>decide it could be jock-itch (but doesn't look like that much either)
>buy hydrocortisone 1% cream as advised by internet
>use for 7 days, not much improvement
>area becomes mildly itchy
>buy talc to soothe itching and reduce chaffing
>get by with just talc for a few months
>still not healed, figure sti testing can't hurt
>everything comes back negative
>doctor tells me i'm just allergic to soap
>switch to aqueus cream for washing junk
>no improvement after a month
>see doctor #2
>says it IS jock itch and to use the 1% cream again
>no improvement again
>try "home remedies" like tea tree oil/honey/apple cider vinegar
>tea tree oil gives some relief but also made my balls bright red
>stop all treatments
>go back to normal routine for a month or so
>no improvement
>doctor #3 says skin looks fine (still itching and redness though)
>prescribes anti-fungal cream with hydrocortisone 1% "just in case"

So now I have a red, itchy, inflamed scrotum and groin with a translucent penis thanks to the internet, doctors stupidity and my own stupidity. I'm fairly sure if I'd have done nothing and just let it heal on its own I'd be fine right now. I've been using the emollient for about 6 months now to wash with all over and there might have been a very mild improvement but it's hard to tell over that time. I'm thinking about going back to the derm again and asking if there's anything else I can do.

I'd be very grateful for advice if anyone has experienced anything similar, If there's something I can do to improve the look of the skin please tell me but I'm fairly sure I'm asking for what is essentially an anti-ageing cream considering the similarities between skin atrophy and naturally aged skin (and as far as I know all anti ageing products are bollocks).

tl;dr don't use steroid creams on your junk you will regret it/doctors don't know what they're doing, do your own research

I guess 60-70kg depending on how /fit/ you are. More /fit/ more weight. If you're a fat looser with no muscle I think anything under 60 would be attractive

I have severe back pain (pic related) on one side after doing squats. I can't bend over anymore, picking up weights from a rack causes extreme pain. It feels like my hip needs to snap back in place to end the pain.

I am. SOrry, should have made that clear. The lifting I've done in the past is legit programs, but missing days. Not really "serious". Now I'm getting in 4 times a week (candito's) and my school timetable has been cheanged to allow me to do that (coincidence, but fuck yes).
