I'm working on getting to one bodyweight pullup, and am using an assist machine at my gym to get to it.
What's the proper progression for improving assisted pullups? Is it the usual 3 warmups and 3 work sets, or is there some other structure I should be using?
Right now I need 140 lbs assistance (weak as fuck) but I'm losing 10 lbs assistance every 2 workouts using the above. Don't know if there's a faster way to do it.

How long does it take you to get back on track? How often does this happen to you?!
If you're sick, it's better to just skip a workout. Your body is busy fighting off the illness, you don't need to stress it further with a workout, not to mention your lifts will be shit anyways. Start back up on your normal routine once you're feeling better.

Just keep lifting yo, it really is a marathon. In 3 months I've bumped my squat to 175 from 85. It's still not a lot, but I remeber my first leg day these chicks next to me were repping 155 no problema.
Then theres me, next to them, DYING to get up 85. Sure I'm 6 inches taller, but as a man, it just isnt comforting knowing that a girl is physically stromger than you.

26 yo virgin - had opportunities but always passed because I was ashamed of my body.
Was overweight as a child, normal weight for awhile and then ate to 260 lbs. Current weight is 205 lbs.
Running SS for the past month and a half with C25k on off days. Eating 2000 calories with 35/35/30 macro split.

As for C25k that's the best program for you if you're building up stamina, strength and trying to be more consistent with your runs. Again, too early to see results in your body.
You're retaining a lot of fat in the love handles and gut so you may see some loose skin.
Change your macro split. 40/30/30.
