I'm planning on going on a backpacking/hiking trip across the pacific northwest and around Idaho/Montana/Wyoming for a few months.
Calculators tell me I only need 2000 calories a day to sustain my weight.
If I eat about 3000 a day and burn all that off and probably a lot more for a few months, what will happen?

It really only makes getting used to cold easier. I wear tank tops year round and only a sweatshirt if I'm spending a significant amount of time outside. I havent had winter clothes or boots in probably 15 years, 26 now. Also been living in NH my entire life.
