Guys I love OHP so much. It is awesome when some DYEL guys are squatting 135 next to you and then you start OHPing 135 for reps next to them.

those lifts actually use different muscles, so while your shoulder might be very strong, your posterior chain might be comparably weak.

I've got a question for any boxers out there, amateur boxers in particular, so right now i'm 6'0 around 178/180lbs with a 75 inch reach, i'm planning on competing in the 165lbs devision, my question is this, am I better off staying around my current weight and training at this weight, then cutting down before the fight then rehydrating and coming in heavier than 165, giving me a size advantage, or am I better off getting down to close to 165 and training at that weight year round then fighting at around that weight in the ring. I know if I enter the ring at 165lbs I may be giving up a size advantage over a fighter who say rehydrates up to 175lbs or so, but I feel a lot lighter on my toes the lighter I am, my stamina also gets better the lighter I am and i'm just generally quicker, am I better off giving up a size advantage for speed and stamina or should I cut weight.
