well i do warmup sets until i get to whatever im doing that day and then do 3x3 of it and come back down

i bench until my shoulders get sore, then i correct my form and keep benching, but it's too late, the soreness gets worse cause i keep benching like an idiot
now i'm sitting with an icepack on my shoulder and when i go to the gym later today i'm doing cardio instead of lifts cause my shoulder is fucked, that's how i bench.

This is kind of true. On one hand, you get made fun of if your bench sucks, and getting to bench 3-5 times per week is actually fun.
On the other hand it contributes the least to your total so it often gets left well behind the squat and deadlift.
