i think muscular guys don't usually date girls, they just pump and dump because they're as shallow as the girls they attract. personally i lift, because i like the looks of it and also partly because of insecurity i guess. the girls i've dated never cared about my muscles, but it makes me feel safe somehow

I see this trend where the people on Facebook who shares their goals and minor success with training are usually the ones that give up within half a year. Meanwhile the people with true progress just discreetly get fit without posting "progress" pics and new PRs every two days.

I aimed for 1/2/3/4 (minus 4 because I don't really do deadlifts.) I hit 1 and 2, but I haven't made any real progress on my squats and have stalled at lmao2pl8. Maybe deads would help but I'm too afraid of fucking up my back. How was your year /fit/?

I think it said they would go away after 1-3 years though but that might have been if you stopped exercising completely. idk man and idc but look around for the study, cause its out there.

Tittle says it all. We are forbidden from using the squat, bench and deadlift (bonus points if you exclude the OHP) but not their variants. So, for example, if you program calls for back squats you will do box squats, if it calls for flat benching you will do cg or incline, etc.
