Short story: I arranged a meeting with a girl from tinder, and now I need a good excuse not to show up.
Long story: I have a rooted android phone, therefore I installed a fake gps and started tindering on other countries. Why? Well, firstly because my english is not perfect (I'm from south america) and I wanted to chat with people to practice it, and since no one around where I live does even know how to say hello en english, I decided tinder was a good idea since omegle doesn't work if you're not a horny camwhore and just wanna talk. I also wanted to know how girls would react to certain things, so it was also kind of an experiment for me too. Thing is I got matches and all, and I wanted to go all the way to be about to meet up with a girl so I could know they were willing to do it, because it would give me an edge about things since I don't get many matches where I live, nor have many dates. So I got matches, many, many more than I usually do, and probably because euro girls like latinos. So there's this chick that wants to meet up tomorrow afternoon, and it's all set up, but she doesn't know I'm actually hundreds of thousands kilometers away, and I don't want to tell her the truth because it will most likely break her confidence in people and all that. So, do you guys have any idea of what I could say? I know you can help me, please, thanks.

So a few days ago while walking to the convenience store I witnessed this guy crossing the street getting hit by a van that was going fast as fuck. I ran over to see him and as I looked at his mangled and clearly dead body and while calling the cops I couldn't help but perceive this event as something out of the action movies. You know, like, I wasn't traumatized at all. So fucking weird.
Even now, I don't feel disgusted or traumatized by that event. Is this normal? I mean, I am normal, I don't have any mental illnesses. It seems as if I'm not able to percive it as a truly real event. Is it just a coping mechanism?

Generally, yes. You don't know the guy. It would probably be very different if it were someone you genuinely cared about. People in these situations that start screaming/crying are mostly just startled from shock, like a very young child hearing a loud noise.

that's a rather tricky question, but a life of uncertainty pursuing art/film is dangerous financially.
I did bio because I know STEM is useful, and it's the most interesting field to me in the area. However, this is certainly not going to make me happy in the long run.

Biology is the type of major people go into that are too stupid to get into proper stem.
It is overcrowded and the job market is way smaller than for other stem majors (also the pay is way worse).
I don't mean to shit on your parade or anything, but Biology is not the major for you if you want to do stem/study something to get a great job.

I made a thread on here a couple of days ago but I was largely ignored so cut straight to the point.
I am living with major depressive disorder and I hate my university and the course. I have met some people that I am really fond of but I largely don't care much for the people at my university.
My question is this. With no real plan for the future and academia, do I just wanna drop out of university or stick on with it?

You don't have to be fond of your classmates to get something out of college. The only reasons for quitting would be if you have something better to do or if you feel that your depression is making your ability to succeed in school impossible and flunking out is inevitable anyway. In that case, talk to a dean about a medical furlough or withdrawal that would leave open the possibility of your returning when you feel better.

I got left by my girlfriend a few weeks ago. She texted me a few times after leaving me, the first time she texted me and blocked me afterwards, the second time she sent me one of my tweets and asked me to delete it, i deleted it. The next day i asked if she hates me, she said she does, I asked for a reason bet she ignored me. I wished her good luck and said that i hope everything in life will work out for here afterwards blocking her. I still love her, how do I deal with this. She was the only one that ever loved me, no joke, my mother doesn't care about me much and i don't have a father or any other relatives that would care about me. Please give me advice. I will be very thankful if you will.

My entire life's has been predetermined with education and such and now I'm at the final stage, I've realised that I don't want to endure it anymore.
Being on the precipice of a new beginning is extremely daunting but I am willing to take the plunge, as should you. New beginnings are healthy, a distraction from our menial existence.
Keep going as long as you can. That's my only plan at the moment.
