I I've stopped taking cocaine meth and MDMA and am getting severe withdrawals like sweating enough to fill buckets and curling up and just shaking but I can't go to a drug clinic and risk anyone finding out also I sometime just cry until like 7am and collapse And have to wake up one hour later and it's really starting to take a toll just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to deal with this

There are these fashion/model people on my Instagram who live about 15 miles from me who make money from stuff and go on holidays and to parties and fuck hot girls and enjoy their lives and look cool they're all around the same age as me I feel like such a loser in comparison sometimes I tell myself this is just social media they're probably stupid and obviously they're going to make their lives interesting on here but they're probably sad too but I think I just say that to myself so I don't feel so bad.

To cheer myself up I try to be the "coolest of losers". It's hard to explain, but if you're a bit of a nerd you'll surely be surrounded by greasy neckbearded obese faggots living with their parents, considering girls magical scary creatures, that don't clean themeselves and wear oversized clothes, of which half are 10 years old ruined metal bands t shirts bought for 5 bucks.
Shower yourself everyday, shave, wear clothes of your correct size and then go out with them (they can actually be decent people despite being total losers) and bam, you're now the coolest of the not-cool people.
It really helps. It may sound selfish or arrogant, but pretty much everyone does it.

Sup /adv/. Was wondering if you could help me out with something.
I'm moving out to France to hopefully work in a bar next week. I've been offered a trial shift which is still considered 'part of the interview process' so I think this means I'm not guaranteed work after it.
Originally I was asked to come in for the trial, and it would be 2 and a half hours long just to see how I do. I have now been asked to come in 6pm-1am on both Wednesday and Thursday, amounting to 14 hours unpaid work.
Looking online at UK laws, this is completely illegal to do as a trial shift functions as something to test skills - once the work being done falls in to productive work for the employer rather than testing of skills, it is therefore illegal to not be paid. Have I understood this correctly?
Anyway, baring in mind this is UK law, I need help with French law as I'm unfamiliar with it. Is it similar, perhaps due to it being in the EU?
So far my idea is to happily commit to working the 14 hours unpaid - If I get the job, great. If I don't get the job, demand to be paid for those 14 hours.
My question is firstly is it legal or fair for me to be asked to work those 14 hours unpaid, and secondly if I do commit to doing so, can I demand to be paid if I don't get the job?

UK laws are not valid in France. Try to find information on this policy in France.
I've worked in the industry in EU, and although it is not very legal in my country (unpaid work whatever the case) it is custom to ask for half a day to a days work as a trial to see how a person performs. Not every restaurant does this but some do. If you don't agree, you won't be considered for the job.
Where I am from, if you agree to work with no compensation, you are not entitled to pay, really.
I have only ever done this once or twice and never have I worked the whole duration of the trial shift before being hired.
I would not agree to working 2 days with no pay, in no circumstance. It might be they need an extra hand for those days and don't feel like paying for it. I would negotiate the trial shift to a shift or a half shift, if possible.

Hi /adv/. I'm having some trouble with my roommate.Before we moved in I told him I had trouble sleeping, so if he was going to get up at 7:00AM for work I didn't want to move in with him. He assured me that he would only be working Mondays and Fridays, and that I could just use earplugs for those days.
I was fine with that, but now recently he has started to work every day of the week, blaring his alarm as loud as possible, waking up at the ass crack of dawn 7:00AM to go to work. Again this would be fine but I often cannot go to sleep before 3:00-4:00AM and 3-4 hours of sleep has really started to take a toll on me. I feel like shit most of the time. Doi have a right to be mad? What can I do about this situation? I tried to use earplugs, but that alarm is loud as hell(and he often let's it ring for 40+ minutes)

Well considering this is supposedly another no-judge thread (they all totally are), I'll bite.
So quick background on myself: I'm married, with a son of 4 years old. I'm a month or so off 25, my wife is about 6 months younger.
Now this is where it breaks down to the judging i.e. my side of the story vs. what everyone will likely think. My side is that I come from a literally long long of "leaving" dads, cheating dads, and just general assholes. I can trace it about 5 generations back, no joke. Both me and the wife have agreed and proven that we have about a 20-30 IQ difference between us, me being the higher; this leads to me having focuses and interests pretty different that her in Many situations. I started talking to other girls online about a year into our dating (few months prior to getting married) because of a multitude of these things. Now what everyone else would say is I simply married too young and I'm using my inflated IQ and father lineage as an excuse to "cheat". Hey it's my life and I believe what I actually lived, so whatever.
TL;DR: I have talked to and "cheated" with about 6 different girls online, each of which I felt were closer to me on some level as opposed to the wife. 3 of them ended up with a minimum of swallowing and one all the way up to buying a birth control shot just so I could cum inside her without getting her pregnant. I know what I'm talking about in other words.

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years, but we have known each other about 8 from working together.
3 weeks ago my bf said he was going to take off and go to NYC for 10 days with his brothers wife to look for a vacation apartment for her and her husband. His brother asked if he would go with her to make sure she's OK an no one messes with her. His brother stayed in AZ to finish a big contract at his work.
I was kind of surprised my bf didn't invite me too but figured he didn't want to spend more money because apparently NYC is expensive to say in.
Anyhow, during this whole trip he rarely returned my calls or texts saying he was busy or it's too loud in NY to hear anything. My best friend reassured me that that's true and he is probably busy or just enjoying the sights in NYC.
He got back after the 10 days and a day ago he told me when he was drunk that they shared a hotel room because of the price of the rooms and that they slept in the same bed 3 times head to toe because he was sick of sleeping on the floor. I didn't believe they slept head to toe, or that it was only 3 days they slept in the same bed. He said he didn't want to tell me because i would "freak out and jump to conclusions"
He showed me some pics when he got back of NYC and the sights, when i was scrolling though them on his phone there was a picture of them taken by someone else with her sitting on his lap on a subway. I asked him about it and he said "oh, all the subways are crowded in Brooklyn and she didn't want to sit next to anyone because she was afraid"
What do you make of this? The only other "romantic" or "intimate" situations I have seen them in in all the year we have been dating is 2 years ago when we were at New Years Eve party and they danced together for a brief time. I never brought that up to him because they were both drunk and it was in front of everyone (including her husband) who didn't care so I blew it off too.
