im 20 and I finally got my own appartment. I moved in 3 days ago, its still quite empty here, I h avent bought much. All i have is a desk and a bed, and of course kitchen stuff to survive, so im in the stage of buying myself some nice things to decorate with.
Some weird feeling is creeping up on me, and I dont like it.
I mean, I should be happy, i have a fulltime job, a huge circle of good friends and nice hobbies, but since i moved out I feel scared, or something. I sometimes have small anxiety attacks, and ive NEVER had those before.
What is this feeling? Why am i feeling so upset? Its almost like i feel abandoned, but im not.
>>17515218
real anxiety attacks or ur just feeling anxious? do you know the difference? cuz when i first had an anxiety attack i didnt know i was having one.
either way, ur nervous cuz of whats going on, the next step. take a shot, go to bed, and you will get used to it.
its like the first day at work or school. always super exciting and nervous. than two weeks in everything feels tooooo casual
>>17515218
It's just the first time you've been responsible for everything and it's going to feel odd. Completely natural. Just keep making the space your own and try to enjoy it.
I had a similar experience, plus a breakup at the same time. Moving out is not easy, OP. You're right. The terror is real.
My girlfriend of 10 months and I decided we should go on a short break, because we went on a date recently and nothing was the same, everything felt dull. Last night I found out through her friend that a month ago, a guy from her past messaged her saying I've always wanted you. She had a crush on this guy for a while, a year before we met. She said something along the lines of "you should've told me, I have a boyfriend". They kept talking for a month, she says it's just as friends. I couple days ago he told people that my girlfriend and him were "talking" not that her and I were taking a break. She corrected him and said they're not, but never told me any of this. I've never loved anyone this much, should I leave her? Help
*now that here and I are taking a break*
>>17515194
>break
Don't even need to read any more - she's being tempted by other guys. A "break" is just a coward's "break up" - be honest with yourself man, people have been on "breaks" forever and never actually officially break up before...
>just as friends
My ass. But you say he's just a friend, but you say he's just a friend...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9aofoBrFNdg
She is not your girlfriend any more. Dump her ass like the whore she is.
If she loved you like you claim to love her, she wouldn't be doing this to you. That shit ain't reciprocated, man. Let her go.
My girlfriend hid the fact that she was pregnant with my child and had an abortion without informing me. I feel so angry right now.
What should I do?
>>17515153
I'm sorry for the loss of your son/daughter OP.
get her pregnant again but this time at the right moment, when SHE is ready?
an embrio is not a child, its cells, growing.. into one
Is it possible for a guy to find a girl who has put on eyeliner poorly attractive? (pic related)
>>17515115
Why not just not wear eyeliner?
>>17515117
because men don't like women who don't wear makeup
> inb4 you do
all women wear make up, you're just used to it so you think it's no-makeup
>>17515115
I've been around a lot of depressed people, so I actually don't expect their makeup to be on point every day or their clothes to be matching.
On another note, if a woman is actually attractive, I could probably fuck her in Halloween werewolf makeup (reluctantly)
> my bfs friends don't like or care about me
> I'm generally considered to be a nice and pleasant person to be around
> can't get over them not wanting me around
How do I get over it.
>>17515109
it may not be you so much as it is they dont like girls hanging out with the guys. its not the same, no matter how pleasant you are or how much you think ur just 'one of the guys'.
its not the same.
but it may just be early on and they arent used to you as part of the dynamic. no one wants to welcome a friends gf with open arms cuz they dont know how long they'll be around
>>17515125
> they don't like girls hanging out with the guys
That's probably it
> it may just be early on
It's been two years
>>17515142
haha then yeah they probably dint like the dynamic. do they have their gfs hanging with the group regtularly?
Hey /adv/
Is there anyone experienced with changing names?
I like my name, but it has a weird additional letter at the end which makes it unique (and I like it less that way).
Yes, I changed from a Chinese unpronounceable name to an American name.
You get a lawyer, pay him $300 to do the paperwork for you, go to the name change building, then go get a new drivers licence, passport and other ID and wa la you have a new name
Thanks anon.
I'm curious - am I free to pick whatever I want?
>>17515119
Shit, meant to reply to your post >>17515132
I got interested in animal anatomy and would like to do some dissections by myself.
How can I kill an animal I catch (say a pidgeon or a mouse) with minimum damage to its organs? Poisoning them seems dangerous since I will be digging in their insides (wearing gloves, but still..)
Anything else I should be cautious about while dissecting something?
>>17515101
Have you been tested for sociopathy?
>>17515101
Y-you know you can buy animals ready for dissection from certain places like schools do, right??????
>>17515560
So what? Your retort has nothing to do with helping him/her.
Anyways, poisoning is the only way to mimize organ damage and any poison you use should only be poisonous via ingesting.
help me before i fuck it all up. I have been dating a girl for a couple of months and im fed up of her bull shit. i feel like she is taking me for granted. Im always really nice and caring toward her but she is often apathetic towards me, and makes up excuses not to see me. I nearly sent her a message calling her out on all her bull shit but realised that it might not be the right thing to do so i have come here seeking advice.
we where talking on text and i sent her a message saying that i am down and would like some cuddles, she said "im going out in a minutes, find someone else". this pissed me off and i sent her a text basically saying she is being apathetic. she hasn't replied but i feel like sending her another one saying i deserve to be treated better etc. If this carries on any longer, i will definitely end it because the relationship is toxic, she honestly doesent deserve me right now and i could do better. i lost my virginity to her so i suppose i have some feelings towards her. this isnt east for me. i also might not be able to see her for a little while longer, she lives 40 mins away on the train and she is apparently broke and doesent like people paying for her, so speaking to her in real life isnt an option. what should i do? thanks.
>>17515089
bump
I'm going trough the same here, i don't know what to do anymore. I'm just waiting for her to kick me out anytime soon i guess.
>>17515089
break up wtih her. you dont even owe her an in person if you dont want to, its really no big deal.
just dont whine about how hard it is being single in two months
Hey /adv/ I did it
Got gf
We made out in my room but it was then that I found out we both sucked at kissing. It wasn't her first kiss but me being a virgin loser it was the first time doing that.
I kissed her multiple times that day but didn't really enjoy it
Any tips to get them kissing skills?
Practice on her more. Dont use tongue because you dont know shit. Kiss one part of her lip at a time. Gently bite (very light pressure like the most gentlest pinch which shouldnt hurt) and pull a little bit (imagine pulling her lip about 1 cm away from her face where theres only enough pressure on the bite to be able to pull) and let go.
>>17515092
>Kiss one part of her lip at a time
What I meant by this is most of both yur lips should be between one of her lip (50% of her other lip should be felt by yur upper/lower lip depending on which lip was your main target.)
>>17515092
>>17515100
So basically bite lip gently first?
I'm 25 and have been dating a girl for a week. We worked together every day for the past ~1 month and there was a strong mutual interest, so we ended up getting together. We aren't working together in the same dept anymore.
The problem is that I have been spending nearly every minute after work with her. We sleep together, I have a tooth brush at her place, I have a pillow there, etc. I basically moved in. And I guess I didn't think it was that bad until yesterday she almost told me she loved me. When I took a step back and realized how fast we were going, I realized that I may have gotten in too deep. I don't necessarily wanna break up with her cause I like her, but I think the odds are stacked against us. We are from different backgrounds and cultures, and my job may require me to move in 1 year to a different state.
I didn't expect to get into a relationship this year because I knew I was going to move for my job, but now that I'm in one, I have the option of staying if I ask. If I do end up staying and we are together, marriage is basically around the corner. And because this job I'm in pays well and there's a history of people working their way up fast, neither of us is going to quit and leave.
What the hell do I do?
>>17515057
what? dude, you have known her a month and are talking about marriage.
>>17515121
No, i'm saying that if I do end up staying, then that would be basically what I'm telling her. I don't feel remotely ready for marriage but if I end up keeping this job at this location, then I feel like she will get the idea that I wanna marry her and she's more into this than I am.
>>17515145
what do you want?
So I have a friend who lives in Turkey and they sent me this "Hey, you
If I die anytime soon and don't get to see you again.
I just wanted you to know that If I did anything wrong that upset you,
I AM SORRY
Hope you can forgive me," WHAT DO IM DO IM FREAKING OUT!
If its a girl, she's just attention whoring
If its a guy then some shit is about to go down
that is the problem, she is not an Attention Whore, never has liked the spotlight. It worries me that she would even think about saying this unless something was really going to go wrong
>>17515018
what's happening in Turkey ? Witch hunt ?
I hate my job so much, but it gives me full-time hours.
I have to leave in 40 minutes and I just want to die.
I shouldn't have to put up with this. I'm 27 and working this shitty job.
I don't want to devote eight hours a day to this shithole job. Somebody please kill me.
How do I escape?
Fuck man I feel the same way. I hate being a wage slave.
>>17514958
what's the job?
I'm 27 too, working as an EMT. The pay is shit and I have to put up with a lot of metaphorical and occasionally literal shit, but I do enjoy it. At the end of the day I always feel like I've actually helped people and maybe made a difference in someone's life.
Before that I was working as a security guard after dropping out of college and absolutely hating life like you, but I went through EMT school while I was working and got out of there. In a few months I'm going to start paramedic school and once I get through that I'll actually be making a decent wage.
>>17514990
It's my own fault for thinking I could be an artist.
I miss 2012, when I still had hope.
What does it mean if when you text a girl she's really cold and seems uninterested, but is fun and talkative in person? We are only friends btw.
She likes attention, but when shes away she gets more attention from other guys on the phone via Snapchat/Insta/Twitter/FB.
>Shes being nice by not being on her phone infront of you because she dont want you to see her sexting.
She might also seem cold and not interested in talking, if you were to sit down and watch a movie together.
>>17514915
you are probably not interesting in text / she is not a natural texter. not all girls sit on the phone all day.
if ur into her, ask her out on a real date
Every now and then there's a "So I finally got a girlfriend..." thread here.
Have any of the non-chads here got a girlfriend? Is she honestly good looking?* Are you good looking? How did YOU get her to be your girlfriend?
*my fat friends are dating fat girls
>>17514887
It may sound the long way around, but the best way to find a girlfriend, if you are not a conventional chad, or if you are just looking for something more than arm candy, is to NOT look for a girlfriend.
Instead, look for friends-who-are-girls. Find people in whose company you are happy, who happen to have vaginas. Yes, there is always the danger of being friendzoned, but there is at least the same likelihood of you each, having gotten to know each other as friends, developing into more.
And the qorst that can happen is that you'll have more friends.
>>17514907
**worst**
>>17514907
I've been doing this for a year and still no gf but I guess it can work since one of my friends did the same and got an awesome gf after about 5 years of knowing each other
Is having sex for the first time at age 19 normal?
>gif unrelated
>>17514817
Yes.
Yeah
>>17514817
depends, if you are a woman you are way behind the curve.
Most women aren't virgins by the time they hit their 14.
