Why did you tape the harddrive to the bottom? Now you can't lay it flat.

You could have used some velcro strips to keep them together instead of mummifying the poor thing.

One, nothing's on the bottom, I don't get what you mean. Also it's not taped on, but it's in a pocket fashioned out of duct tape. Originally it WAS velcro'd on, but the thing is the weight of the drive combined with the heat from the wii would cause the glue to fail, and the velcro was ruined within two months or so.

Hard to say, it isn't complete shit but it definetly could be better. One thing you can say for certain was that the whole gen is underpowered. most consoles seem too kinda struggle with framerates unlike before.

The Genesis was better at fast action games but the SNES library aged better overall. Call me a filthy casual but Genesis games remind me more of arcade games, while SNES games remind me more of games released for later systems.

Did you make sure to enable 480p/720p/1080i in the xbox video setting? Also, a Wii makes for a much better emulation machine.

Yeah, I don't have any of the component cables or anything yet.

I just recently updated my Xbox's mod and I have so many games on there and everything's set up.

I'd have the same problem with the Wii, I think, since it's component only and I'd need to convert it to HDMI. But I guess the Wii2Hdmi works easily.

I just started looking in to getting one of these to play emus on? Specifically I want to build a custom cabinet control deck with one of those button kits from amazon on hook it up to a Raspberry pi specifically for games. How hard is it for someone whose computer skills are limited to 4chan shitposting to get retropi running with emulators and actually playing games?
