Why does castlevania has anime style in certain games? Frankly it looks retarded , the best look is the sc4 or cb , hell, even ooe for ds, the games are decent but the style feels forced and it panders to the weebs it's as if the last of us announced a sequel and all the characters were anime

Can someone explain to me the appeal of this series? Tried games 1 and 4 recently and just couldn't get into them.

It's the defining RPG series.
The story itself isn't that great aside from maybe 5 and 7 but it was thriving for innovation and building a world.
1-3 were still very basic attempts to recreate D&D.
4 was the milestone that added interactivity beyond fighting, offered a world somewhat distinct from fantasy cliche and focused on improving yourself instead of fighting another evil wizard.
5 onward then expanded the setting and played different scenarios related to the virtues.
Underworld deserves special mention because it was groundbreaking in all sorts of aspects even when it was largely shoehorned into the series.
Overall the series has a lot of flaws but it's an important part of history and some aspects were never done better.

after taking off the rest of the shell and shield though I was surprised to see everything was in good shape. no popped caps, no shit-stains or anything.
An early run too, since the audio device was still a plug-in module at the top right corner there. The surface was corroded but no damage inside.

Quick question regarding those infamous Majesco re-releases.
I got a bunch of Snes games for cheap, pic related are the boards and from what ive read on th3 int3rn3tz, Majesco re-releases which were produced in Mexico, do not use "official" Nintendo PCB's, and these six all have the Nintendo logo and the year printed which actually matches the year in which those games were released.
can anyone confirm? games are buster boost loose, chavez, lock on, wrestlemania, super scope 6 and nba live 95.

Does anyone else feel motion sickness while playing old fps games? I really want to finish Blood and Half-Life, but I can't play more than ten minutes without feeling dizzy and my head starting to ache. I can play modern fps normally, but old ones are unplayable for me, and that makes me really sad.
Does anyone have the same problem? Why does it happen?

Sorry for potato quality - I tried to take a picture of the back but only the serial was clear, the rest was withered and I couldn't get the model number. I have had this TV in the living room for about a year.
Its a Sanyo and it says "flatscreen" to the right lowerhand corner. In the OSD I can switch between 4:3 or 16:9. Kodi however always runs in a letterbox no matter what.
I am trying to figure out the native resolution for 4:3 so I can edit accordingly, but am having trouble identifying this specific TV. As of right now it's pretty impossible for me to move out of the entertainment system, was hoping someone would reconize it. I will try to get a better pic of it and post. Thanks

Your post makes little sense. Are you using an emulator and having resolution scaling issues? If that is a pic from hardware you have crazy underscan.and need to adjust hsiz,vsiz,hpos and v pos in the service menu to fill the bezel. On old sanyos you turn the tv on, hold the menu button on the set. and un plug it then plug it back in. Write down the original value for anything you adjust so you have a baseline to go back to just in casies.

Hey /vr/,
is there a good way to keep emulator saves synced between my PC and my Android phone so I can play a game on the PC at home but on the phone when I'm not home? Are there any good emulators that work on both PC and phone so the saves will work on both? Thinking specifically of SNES to play some FF VI, but might wanna play games from other old consoles, too.
