Is he a Paladin or a Cleric?
>>49708926
He's a male videogame character made by fucking Disney. What the fuck do you think he is, you pathetic mouthbreathing shitposter?
>>49708926
he's that homebrew class that one player managed to nag you to let him try because "it's totally balanced and fits the setting guiz! it just fits what i want better than any of the classes in the book"
>>49708926
Weeb-shit multiclassing in "Typical Shonen MC" and "Yaoi-bait garbage".
In an anarchic hell-hole, ruled by thugs and modern tribes life is a struggle every day.
A ragtag group of venture capitalists might be able to free these people from the shackles of poverty by introducing industry and trade.
But not if the punks that benefit from the desperation of the people have anything to say about it.
The main challenge in a corporation's life is defeating the competition.
If there are no rival corps you're basically a rogue nation, not a corp.
If there are rival corporations that ruins the savior narrative, they can establish industry without you.
>>49709318
>If there are no rival corps you're basically a rogue nation, not a corp
>All businesses are the archetypal megacorp
Fuck outta here, anarkiddo.
>>49709384
This is my turf fatcat.
Now we gotta smash up this here office space to teach you goody two-shoes a lesson.
What is the best system to run a setting like this?
https://youtu.be/RAuqceq8jME
>>49708080
Is that actually real? Did that nutcase seriously almost get impaled by a flying piece of debris in a published YouTube video?
how do people not know about fpsrussia
>>49708150
Yes, important word is nutcase.
I would like to create a Bronze Age setting for D&D 5e drawing upon the Etruscans, Phoenicians and Mycenaeans, where could I avoid going wrong?
>>49707610
Ok, that sounds cool. My character wants to use magic to build a steam-powered airship.
>>49707610
>D&D 5e
Ugh
>>49707735
I would actually prefer to be using either GURPS or runequest 6/mythras but my group seems to be insisting on 5e, I really don't mind much about game mechanics if the setting ends up not fitting with 5e I will insist on using one of the two systems I prefer.
Lets build a setting using images, you can be abstract (the 'feel' of an image) or literal (actual character/world/whatever art).
Try to keep your images aesthetically similar to previous ones within reason. Don't add text explaining your image, that removes the point. Don't image dump 50 files and drown everyone else out.
mite b cool
>you will never live on the outskirts of a cyberpunk city
>you will never get to enjoy a comfy life with all the modern amenities available steps from your home
>you will never be able to take a short walk and do wild and illegal sex acts
>you will never be able to walk 5 blocks in to the core and watch tigers fighting bears
>you will never be able to jump from rooftop to rooftop with your hot cyborg gf who may or may not be of legal age but who cares because laws don't exist
>you will never carry a high powered laser pistol to protect yourself and your hot cyborg gf
>you will never live forever thanks to the miracles of high priced anti-aging drugs you stole
How do you add a unique twist to your cyberpunk setting? I like making there be no majority race at all, and nobody understands each other.
>>49706423
Ever heard of Liberia?
I've been thinking of running a Cyberpunk 2020 game set in some kind of Neo-Johanessburgh, in the ghettos obviously. And to use the Voodoo and stress rules from that one sourcebook.
>>49706423
>underage
>somehow a cyborg
Anon, I hate to break this to you, but I don't think this is a healthy fantasy to have...
>>49706423
Thank god for that, cuberpunk is horrid vision of futureToo bad its inevitably coming, except without the hopeful parts
Dreadnoughts were shit from day 1. Never were good, even up to today.
Warmachine morphed into infantry machine. MK3 made them better with the 1 free focus, but infantrymachine is still by far, the only list you can take if you want to play competitive.
Infinity TAGs need baby sitting, and can but shut down by a multitude of ways, hacking, glue, shooting.
Why? They're the coolest thing in each game, and in warmachine, literally the main draw, and yet, everyone ends up using infantryspam at the end of the day?
>>49706136
>infantrymachine is still by far, the only list you can take if you want to play competitive.
Either you play in a very strange meta or you don't actually pay attention to what people are bringing. Khador and Protectorate jackspam is very much a thing. The number of Crusaders or Berserkers you can fit in a list is obscene, and you only need one of them to get through to the enemy Warcaster.
I mean, they're not the MOST competitive lists around, because they can't really do anything more complicated than running forwards and hitting things, but they're powerful enough that they'll run roughshod over most casualmachine lists.
My ork dreadmob/ forgeworld meka and mega dreads, and stompa weep.

Good. An army that makes everything but the opponents anti tank units near enough completely useless is fucking stupid. Armoured battle groups can get to fuck too.
>First half of the session
>everyone's engaged, having fun, making theories about the dungeon they're going through
>everyone gets some food from the nearby store
>second half is everyone trying to eat doritos on fire and chug challenges
I know i'm being a blubbering bitch but how do i stop this? It really takes the win out of my sails when people are asking "wait what was that thing" every fucking turn because they were bsuy doing some stupid shit.
Find players who don't let food distract them?
What I normally do is break for a meal and we eat while playing, and I don't allow much more alcohol than enough to get buzzed at my table. A little bit of alcohol can loosen the tongue, too much and you're just a drag on the party.
A way you can do it to really avoid this is separate meal time and play time. Clear off the table and eat together, maybe watch youtube videos or like some tv, then after the meal is done get back to playing.
Or use clever scheduling and fit a 5 hour session between meals (from 1-6) then break for dinner.
If your players can't stay focused, maybe run shorter sessions? Or maybe have a proper break for a meal instead of letting everyone snack while you play.
>>49706049
>(from 1-6)
See that's the thing that's getting me riled up, that's my exact shedule, (give or take 20 minutes to account for people getting delayed.) andthe players are my friends because i really don't go well with strangers.
>>49706050
I could try this, i think that a proper break for snacks would be a good solution.
Is this the single most fucked over character in all of 40k?
shit tried to do nothing but good over and over, and every time, he got FUCKED over, either by his brothers, his daddy, or fucking Tzeentch.I'm fairly new to 40k, so this is a mostly serious question. Also, is it easy-ish to build a squad of Thousand Sons?
>>49705700
The dude was an overly naive ball of wonder and open-mindedness.
In 40k.
Of fucking course he got fucked over.
>>49705700
Why are you people posting all of this ttsd shit?
Please be an ironic maymay
>>49705813
Welcome to neo-40k where youtube lore videos have exposed the setting for people too lazy to read a wiki.
And I used to think 1d4chan was bad
Imperial guard as genestealers? what are your thoughts?
>>49705642
makes sense in the canon. Tyranids send genestealers ahead of the main force, they create cults, interbreed with humans to create hybrids, suddenly you have half humans with looted imperial equipment causing havoc.
Then the fucking nids show up in orbit
>>49705642
It's said in the fluff that genestealer cults infiltrate local PDF forces so I don't see why you can't.
>>49705642
as long as they have genestealer cults bits on them, then I'd be fine with it.
But if you are looking to just take your existing guard army and call it a genestealer cult army without doing anything to the models, then you can find someone else to play against.
It's not autism, it's just I take pride in the game and hobby.
Post your SciFi soldiers, bounty hunters, and 'gentlemen adventurers.'
>It's a dungeon with curtains instead of doors
Yes, but why?
>>49705410
It's the BBEG's harem and the harem girls are succubi and harem guards are minotaurs.
>>49705410
Tactical reasons:
-Quick transitions from room to room for sentries
-Unusual sounds can be heard with greater ease by stationary guards
Financial reasons:
-Curtains are easier to repair or replace
-Curtains don't cost as much as doors
Aesthetic reasons
-Great diversity of available materials
-Wide range of color selections
This is a thread for autism that pisses you off in your LGS. Let's get this shit off our chests boys.
>drafting mtg, seven of us focused in
>One guy is humming loudly
>I will give you a dollar for this $1.40 card
>"but it's worth a buck forty, not a dollar"
>but you can't sell it, it's bulk, no one else wants it. I am offering a dollar
>"but I don't need cash, I need trade."
>you could put this dollar towards whatever card you wanted
>"but it's worth a buck forty on tcg low"
>>49704672
>it's another "someone opens an entire box at the counter just to show off" episode
>cards go missing
>last saw them at LGS
>call next day, owner swears up and down he hasn't seen them, he'll check lost and found, call when he finds them
>call never comes
>next week, same cards for sale at LGS
>my my what a coincidence
Granted, that store closed a while back, still a funny anecdote, emphasizing the importance of keeping track of your shit.
>>49705473
Yeah, that is pretty much your own fault.
Do the Steel Legion have any books? I don't just mean black library novels, but also Forge World stuff that gives a break down of individual regiment organization.
I have a feel for Steel right now.
Nothing?
>>49704044
No. They're not Cadians, the greatest of all Imperial Guardsmen
>>49704044
No not really outside of white dwarf and Ammageddon books.
Sad really Steel Legion is my favorite regiment.
Is there a Goblin sub-race that is in some way analogous to Nordic humans?
If it exists, what is this Goblin sub-race like?
If not, what would it be like if it did?
>>49703827
They're called the English.
>>49703827
Someone likes shortstacks with braids...It's okay, I do too.
>>49703827
Just look up the fey myths of Scandinavia.
In most Scandinavian folklore, the "troll" was the all purpose fey, and take many forms. In Peer Gynt (which is inspired by Norwegian folklore, but isn't an Edda or anything, but still very traditional) a troll court contains enormous mountain kings, goblin-like courtiers, hags, and one very beautiful troll princess. They were changelings, of a sort.
