So far we've nailed them down as an Iron Warriors splinter group who worship the Obliterator Virus. They use bioterrorism, extensive body modification, a large core group of veterans-turned Obliterators, and an extensive cult following to eke out a living as mercenaries, selling their service to other warbands. They are led by Thodos, a Daemon Prince who seems to have mysteriously "mastered" the Obliterator Virus.

Last thread we gave our Chimera's a high council to lead them whilst Thodos is away and fluffed out their Orkish nemesis, Mugrumm Blakkrokka and his Freebootaz Da Blakk fangs.
I think that our councillors need a little more personality (seeing as we know ones name and position and that's it) and our legion needs to have done a few things, major campaigns, minor encounters that propelled characters to the upper echelons of the Chimeras, stuff like that.

I've got my own question. If a volley of say, crossbow bolts, is fired at a character, would it be reasonable to treat it as a single attack with an average skill of the launching group, and a ROF equal to the number of weapons used?
That way there's one dodge roll, instead of like 15 where a character can somehow dodge them all.

A - It's a CYOA, there are no established mechanics for the rescue. All the pages to the game are in the imgur album linked in resources.
Q - Why aren't/are we we working on; Fan Gen III/Knights/combat mechanics/etc.
A - We recognize that spreading out our efforts is part of what originally killed the project after Gats left. Accordingly, we're focusing on just one thing at a time and finishing them out.

A - It generally comes down to what people like. Propose the idea and see if others want it.
Q - Is there a map/unified setting?
A - Nope. Though proposals have been made, nothing concrete has been created.

Non-human races are a crutch.
If you cannot make an interesting character without making them some sort of special bullshit snowflake, you're a shit player/GM
If you can make an interesting character, there's no reason to make them non-human.
If you make non-human character that is mentalli compatible with humans, see point 1.
If you make non-human character incompatible with human thinking, they cannot function in party.
It's quite easy, all things considered.
