Basic, but good resistance and gets the job done. Not the best, but solid enough to be consistently great.

Ever do ancient gear fusion?
>>49703461
I've considered it, but I doubt I'd ever be able to actual get the card. If I did, though, I'd probably try it, because it's incredibly powerful, but getting Gear Golem, Polymerization, and two of the fairly mediocre Ancient Gear monsters together together at the same time seems implausible at best.
Hell of an effect, though. Damn powerful, if a bit finicky.
If a MIA Primarch were to return in the "present day" of Warhammer 40000, could he instate himself as Prince of the Imperium?
no, a lot of people would be upset if they lost power, even to a primarch
even a famous one, like gilliman or leman russ would need to bust some heads before he could get something even resembling unified control
Pretty sure that the High Lords would be salty and power hungry enough that they would never actually rule anything officially. They'd simply be a tremendously influential figure (Nobody want to be the first guy to piss them off) within the Imperium and for all intents and purposes have complete control of their own sector.
>>49703091
>no, a lot of people would be upset if they lost power, even to a primarch
I would enjoy it very much if a Primarch, or even two did return to the Imperium and was placed in stasis. The majority of the Imperium completely unaware that they are alive.
Call it the Treaty of the Lords, a secret agreement between the Lords of Terra to never speak of the Primarchs return, sealed deep in the heart of Terra by the side of the Emporer to forever stand immortal and still, chained to the throne of his Father, weeping tears of rage at what his Chapter, his father and the Imperium has become.
Primarch waifu, what do?
Fuck off with that shitty ´´art``
Please don't do this again

Sup /tg/. I'm going to be DMing a game with a group of friends soon a setting similar to Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and Space Dandy.
I need to find a good D20 system that can handle a group piloting a ship, sci-fi combat, and and some magic combat. Do you guys have any ideas on what system to use?
>>49704383
>handle a group piloting a ship, sci-fi combat, and and some magic combat
>D20 system
Anon, I'm not sure how to to tell you this.It doesn't exist.
This is the kind of thing I'd use GURPS for, but just use BRP since it's less effort for you as a GM.
Literally what traveller was made for
>>49704610
Traveller isn't d20 though, is it? I heard the d20 version of it is awful.
starting a lighthearted campaign in 5e D&D, wanna play as a pic related knock off, what's the best way to build him?
>>49702256
Valor Bard with that feat that inspires people (gives them temporary HPs)
>>49702430
i.e. Inspiring Leader, and yeah pretty much.
Just make sure to prepare spare character sheet couple sessions in.
Ho fa/tg/guys
I was thinking of running a campaign based on pic related because it was one of the greatest shows from my childhood. What system would be the best for it? I was thinking Exalted, but I also heard about legend of the Wulin and wanted to know more about it. Other systems appreciated too!
>>49702072
DnD 4e would be a good fit.
Monks there are pretty crazy, and the Martials don't lag behind.
Make sure to follow the show and keep the Challenges and interesting location battles. 4e has a lot of abilities that move and shove people around, so make sure there are things to be shoved on/off of.
I've heard that Exalted has an awful system?
There also might be a problem with some of the Shen Gung Wu, might be overpowered.
>>49702072
>What system would be the best for it?
>>49702126
>DnD 4e would be a good fit.
Second. I'd use inherent bonuses, and then make a bunch of homebrew magical items with WEIRD powers that are less tread-mill-ey and more fun.
How many dice do you like in your sets, /tg/?
The traditional 7? The luxurious 10?
>>49701721
That set of 8 makes my autism rage. No one needs the larger dice and the lack of extra d6s and the percentile d10 makes me angry.
Rolled 1 (1d2)
>>49701721
Coins only.
>>49701721
>>49701733
Pretty much what first anon said. I rarely, if ever, use d30s, and I always carry around at least 3 d6s.
How do I get /tg/ to play WIXOSS?
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CXQte4ruMziXGFugPyx4i6GLiqMXG_GhRqmqB1j7fzM/edit
>>49701160
By actually pitching it yourself instead of just dumping a FAQ and list of links, you lazy dumbass. What makes this different than all the other half-assed Japanese TCGs?
>>49701216
>expecting me to read all that about a game I know absolutely nothing about
Use your words. Didn't you lean anything in show and tell back in elementary school?
Do you think a Living Card Game designed to be the same powerlevel as MTG Legacy be successful?
>>49701086
If it had qt Innistrad waifus?
Possibly
>>49701086
How exactly does a living card game work? It's all in a box set? Then where do new cards come from, besides whole new box sets?
>>49701157
You release all the cards for one set at a time in one box. You jew the customer by having one of each card per box, so they would need to buy several boxes for a playset like in the Game of Thrones LCG.
QUICK! I need ideas for like a dozen random Underdark NPCs for a shantytown right outside the "Tower of the Gods" that connects to the surface world. (Only the worthy may enter, everyone else is stuck)
So far I got:
Revenant Town Guard
Illithid Trinket vendor
Retired Deep Gnome Blacksmith
Drow Brothel Madam + her Ghost wenches
Kobold Vagrants
A dude. Just a normal human dude. Give him some fancy backstory about how he was worthy and could enter, but upon trying to return some shit happened to make him not worthy, but otherwise, just kinda make him a dude who hangs about and preaches about how much the Underdark sucks.
>>49700788
Also, throw in a Drow Chef. He uses Myconids to get herbs and spices for his meals, and has a bunch of Hook Horrors that he sends out to mangle things to get meat.
A maiden of Lolth that has turned her back on the word and just wants to make fine clothes.
>in a dungeon
>dm makes you make a fort save
>failing it means you are tripping balls
What are some effects that could happen or the characters could see if they were in such a dungeon?
>>49700605
Expounding on this, perhaps failing more fort saves makes the trip go from okay to horrendous, and you start going on a bad trip.
So maybe varying levels of severity to the trip.
Multiple instances of the party and its members, offset in time or just kinda staring at each other in confusion.
Subtly alter your own speech patterns to fuck with them.
>>49700678
I hadn't even thought of this as a possibility, but this is amazing.
How do dwarves go into combat without their beards being chopped off?
Are their beards an extra layer of metal armor?
Maybe it's like heraldry. Instead of wearing the emblem of your [clan/house/hold/kingdom], you trim and braid your beard in a way to represent your allegiance.
>>49700266
The mightiest beard repels even the sharpest axe.
>>49700266
>he doesn't have beard armor
I am looking for a System where i can create my own powers for a Shonen Style game, i already know this systems:
Ova
Mutants And Masterminds
Bash
Supers!
BESM
maybe i am crazy and will never find a good system, also pic related
>>49699829
GURPS, unironically.
>>49699840
I see gurps as the inevitable answer, i try to not look at it but the more time passess, the more viable it looks
>tfw i'm working exactly on one that fits that criteria
It's on a pretty early stage though.
Does the Imperium have sanctioned species of xenos?
I'm not talking about the individual xeno that's attached to a Rogue Trader or an Inquisitorial entourage, I'm talking about an alien species that has officially been pardoned by the Imperium and allowed to coexist with them.
Not really. This does happen in some sense on a small scale. For example, if some Inquisitors or Magoses found an alien world/small empire that had some useful tech/info/was a good buffer against the Tyranids, the might divert any attempts to purge them so long as the aliens agreed to an under-the-table non agression pact.
>>49699785
Never on a really large scale, but oftentimes they do shit like hire ork or kroot mercenaries, low key trade with a couple species, or even allow them to co-exist on a small scale on some worlds. It's not just something Rogue Traders or Inquisitors do. Proper generals/admirals sometimes hire freebootas. Sometimes even Eldar pirates.
>>49699850
>this
The only case I can think of that's sanctioned xenos on a large scale are the Watchers in the Dark.
