The Revenant, from 2009. Great movie that makes for good Requiem inspiration. Nightcrawler doesn't have a vampire in it, but it's my go-to movie for what a CofD film should look like.

Words cannot describe how much I hate this fucker. His abilities are relevant at any point in the game. He's a self-token maker, and with that comes self-buffer. The 4 toughness means that if you don't deal with him before he can pump himself, you're fucked. He is one sided graveyard hate. There are so many tricks you can pull with just him on the field. He's a deterrent for any creature that has less than 4 power, 6 if mana is up.

Yes I've lost games to him and yes I'm still mad.

Samurai in a western-styled setting. He was made a ronin after he refused to take part in a massacre of a village, kicked his daimyo in the dick, caused enough of a distraction to let the villagers escape, then kicked his daimyo in the dick again.

As soon as he managed to escape to the West, he marveled at the free exchange of ideas, the relative racial harmony, and the fact that steel wasn't worth its weight in gold. The first thing he did was lend his armor and sword to a museum, and the second was getting some proper halfplate, a musket, and two longswords.

He's a bit immature, but enthusiastic and has a strong moral compass.

Versatile expertise (but not the specific expertise feats with other bonuses) and improved defenses for free.
Although I do wonder what the best level to give those out is. Level 1 is too early, I'm sure. When does the math actually break?

Just a concept since it's Vehicles edition and people kept mentioning making the Batmobile a Vehicle the last time I posted it. If this does well, I might incorporate the ideas from it (I'd have to remove Crew of course) as a DFC or something.

Goblin Gaming have ~30% off for X-Wing and are selling Chaos Space Marines at £4.20 for 3.
Game.co.uk are also selling the Space Marine vs Orks starter for £30, Attack Bikes for £10, Bikes for £5 and a bunch of Ork models on the cheap too

The mix and match class track system is so damn fun, letting you really customize your character and every single one gives a cool selection of fun abilities to make use of.

It also has some of the best feats in any game, ever, and in general tosses the grim and dull elements of D&D out the window. It gives a DC of 35 for no holds barred flight using Athletics or Acrobatics. No qualifiers, no limitations. And even down to DCs as low as 20/25 they still give you flight for a round or two.

It's wonderful and ridiculous and I wish the project hadn't crashed and burned.

I like it a lot more.

You've avoided all the mary-sue tendencies that plagued the draft I commented on, you've given the character a clear reason to *want* to go on the adventure, and added some much-needed flaws.

I guess the only glaring comment is: How does the Mesmerist piece fit into her backstory? The Vox is a crazy flavorful archetype, but it doesn't look you're doing much to develop it.

Plus, on a more selfish note, another character from the LotLK adds some fun connections for Corwin.

This is probably not the only source that describes them as stronger as they look.

I also think that everyone overestimates how strong you need to be to draw a bow. You need mostly back muscles for this kind of activity, they don't necessarily have big, swole arms.
