I'm 22. People say I look 30. I still have acne. I have been balding from 18 on. Currently between 2 and 3 on the Norwood scale. I have no real drive to do anything but lifting. I am constantly in depression.
But my gains are good. I have a 5pl8 DL and I like my body. I just tend to develop slight moobs when bulking.

if you can, get laser acne scar removal at a dermatologist (but only a derm, you can't trust those random clinics). also get a skincare routine from them if you tried all the over the counter cleansers, creams, wipes, etc and you still get acne. it helps a lot.

although i have a super small frame because of genetics and im short (5'7) i still have an above average dick (6 inches)

I think my friend does this. We started training together a while back, and while I got smaller (lost fat) and got bigger in terms of visible muscle, the guy has stayed the same size.
We both put up similar (DYEL) numbers:
150 bench
225 squat
85 OHP
but the guy is still tiny. I'm pretty sure he can power up tho, he's just hiding his power level

How plausible is it for me to get off the couch today and train for a local 5k happening in 2 weeks.
I want to do a half marathon next year and I figure this is a good start. It's a bit soon but it's possible for a slim guy to get to 5k in 2 weeks right? It's only 3 miles.
Any advice on how to go about training so I don't risk injuries or fuck ups? I've never done anything like this before, I've got a desk job so I don't really run, but my building has a gym and treadmills so I figure 3 days a week (M,W,F) I'll try walking 5km with interspersed running till I can run the whole thing?
I'm pretty slim, don't eat shit/smoke/drink but I'm out of shape due to a desk job.

Do it, I did in 2 weeks. Just realize you won't be able to run the entire 5k (which seems to be normal in most 5ks.) Just train on no caffeine up to that point and 30mins before race pop a 200mg caffeine pill. It will feel easy for you then.
Just don't always rely on the caffeine during runs, it will hurt you if you keep doing it. (Learned that the hard way)

Divide the distance in 3 intervals with 1 min walking between them (that means 2 mins of walking). Walk 5k in rest days. You won't be able to run the whole 5k within 2 weeks at a good pace, but you'll make it.

I've never been to the gym but my mom bought me membership for a month yesterday because I've been going through a lot of changes, I've lost 20kg in the past 3 months (but I guess 5kg is probably water weight?).
Anyway so I'm going to be starting up tomorrow, mainly afraid of how difficult the cardio will be because generally I'm really good at pushups (proper ones, even a fitness trainer said I'm doing them correctly) but literally feel like dying after running for 5 minutes.
Anyone have any advice for what weight machines I should start on? I have no friend to look out for me if that changes things. Honestly not sure if it's alright for me to use the weight machines yet because I figure I'll need to diet for another couple months before I'll no longer be classified as overweight, maybe they'll be thinking I'm wasting a machine if a fatty's taking up one and I'm only starting out with whatever the starting weights are.
I've read a lot of the threads here about the kinds of people you see at the gym and I'd probably be one of the guys mentioned on there.
Goal: the get big over the next year, to get get fit for 3 months from now when I'll be applying for a job that specifically recommends getting fit before-hand.
Feel like I'm in an ideal position to start lifting because I don't have obese-level fat on me but I've got a good bit (especially on my legs for some reason - hormonal imbalance?).
Anyone else wanna share their stories or offer advice?
