Depends on how crazy your callouses are though. I use a pumice stone and it makes it much, much smoother though

Anybody /kneesleeves/ here? I'm 5'11 180 and squat 350 atg with a belt and lifting shoes. What do sleeves do and are they necessary? I've had bad knee pain in the past from squats but it went away as my leg muscles grew.

I don't use them cause I'm lifting literally baby weight but have buddies that do.

One of them bought knee sleeves a size too small so that its so tight that they act almost as pseudo-knee wraps. He said it added 15-20lbs to his squat.

Obviously that's not what they're used for but lots of people do this

I'm a beginner, never lifted seriously in my life. I'm 19, 6'7, 265 pounds about 25% bodyfat. I want to get stronger, although my main goal is to lose fat.

Will doing Joe Defranco's ws4sb 3 times a week along with steady state cardio on 3 other days help me lose a lot of fat and get stronger if my diet is on point (500-800 cal. deficit, no sugar, sodas, white bread, or fatty meats)? I chose that program because 1. it's generally recognized as a good program and 2. the volume and frequency seemed more suited to getting stronger on a cut than SS or SL (lifting heavy on bench and squat once as opposed to three times a week).

Is there such a thing as too much reps for a bodyweight excercise?
for example if a guy does 10,000 squats a day every day(let's say he is in max security prison or something), will he ruin his legs or just obtain really really powerful legs??
