Discovered a new bulk diet. One of my bros says it's unhealthy but I've made more gains in one week than I've made on previous bulks.

Here's what I do:
>eat very light six days a week, just a few pieces of fruit once a day, increasing during the week (i.e., more fruit on Friday than on Tuesday)
>binge like a maniac on Saturdays. Meat, cheese, candy, pastries, no limits.
>get a ton of sleep

I think my body goes into starvation mode (I'm really hungry during the week) so the gains are more efficient. What do you think?

Can post before and after pics if people are interested.

Greetings, 4chan. Throughout the most of my life, I've been a fat piece of shit. It makes me feel terrible ,and I've finally had enough of it, so I decided I'm going to post my progress on here and shit. To keep me committed and shit. I'm going to post here every day and copy this shit to a notepad.

Use mfp, don't lie to the app, otherwise you're just wasting time. Get some cardio done, it'll serve as a good bar for progress. The more weightn you lose the easier cardio gets.

Sup /fit/ just got dumped and I've lost motivation to lift. My diet has also gone to shit seeing as how I'm eating less than 1000 calories a day.

I want to fix all this but at the cost of changing my perspective on being fit. I've been considering quitting strength training and instead join an MMA/Muay Thai dojo.

I think hitting something, the cardio, and the moderate weight lifting would be better for me mentally right now. The question is would I make any gains in size at all?

It's garbage. In it everyone is a winner as long as you pay to participate. You can walk the whole race and still get a medal. You'll be competing with office workers who sit on their ass all day and type on keyboard. It's fucking stupid and pointless and a good way to lose money.
