Hi guys, I think this post could be helpful.

It seems like everytime I start a new university class or any type of social activity along with other new starters, all the shy quiet guys in class have their "hopes raised" in terms of girls. They keep trying to make eye contact with girls and fidgeting like heck when we sit near them (only because of a lack of seats) or they sometimes even try to ask girls out for dates! This isnt the 50s, thats not how us girls get with guys anymore.

Im making this post to ask these types of guys to just stop it. Like, immediately. The huge majority of us girls just arent attracted to that type of guy, who doesnt talk to anyone or wears glasses or has few friends. Girls need the guy to have other cool guy friends. Maybe if you were quiet and a member of the football team then it could be cute, but it just weirds us out otherwise.

When we ask you for help on the work, we ask you due to your obligations to your classmates, NOT because we want to know you better (or, eek, more intimate than that)! Im not saying this as some sort of high and mighty supermodel. Im just an average looking girl who recently started university. Ive only had a few serious relationships and about 6 sexual partners (that count).

Im not saying this in a shallow way. Unless youre an Abercrombie & Fitch model we dont judge you for your looks. It doesnt matter how much you lift at the gym or how well you do at the classwork. Girls just dont want to be assailed by quiet guys at the start of each term or university club or workplace.

I recently started doing a brief workout every morning with a dumbbell. I sit on the side of the bed and lift with each arm for a few minutes.

I don't strain myself, but for some reason my arms are aching even the day after, particularly the elbows.

What's the deal, here? Is this to be expected, or do I have bad form?

I stopped enjoying it a long time ago. I still train because I should. Doing what you're supposed to do instead of what naturally feels good is what being an adult means for 99% of people, get used to it or come up with a plan to be a self sustaining hermit NEET for the rest of your life.

Do exercises every morning, something like pushups situps squats chinups run for a half hour
Cut back on snacks and shitty foods or just make good choices every once in a while
If you see yourself getting paunchy go on a cut and start exercising in earnest.

Learn the arcane yet unbelievably important art of maintenance.
You only need to lift once every 2-4 weeks to maintain strength.
You only need to workout once every week to maintain aerobic fitness.

One single set of your 80-90% max with 3-6 reps is all you need to maintain strength in a given movement.
A single full body workout is all you need to maintain all of your strength gains in those movements.

You need to do something aerobically strenuous once every 5 days or so to maintain that.
So a 10 minute HIIT session every week or two is the minimum to maintain basic aerobic and anaerobic fitness.


That's it.
