Also go to see an orthodontist, you probaby need a splint. I remember after I had bracers I was given a retainer to wear at night and during workouts. If I went more than a week without using it I could feel my jaw going assymetric, but also my posture/spine. Would also begin to feel lethargic. If I went back to wearing the mouth retainer, I would feel more much aligned, but also healthy. Now I lost it and feel like shit.

Stress raises cortisol levels, and the higher the cortisol you have the less testosterone you have.

I feel something similar, op. Though not my traps, more in my clavicle near my shoulders. I've found that the slower i release from the bar, the less pain their is. Either way, it goes away nearly immediately. I thought it was normal.
