I need to be able to do 50 situps in 2 minutes by Monday.
Right now I can do 30-something.
I'm looking for any and all advice you guys can give. Even if it's completely bullshit advice that's just there to give me hope.
Pls help.

Take meth the day off so you can do more.
cheat them
flex your glutes about mid way through the rep, and swing your shoulders, bring your elbows in closer to your core
Just.. Do a ton of them over the weekend.. And hope you aren't tied monday

Situps put leverage force on your spine. Do planks or something else.
>she didn't train for her PT test
I really hope you're in the reserves

Hey retard. Instead of giving non-advice, how about you not waste the time if you won't just answer the question?
It's probably a test for some entrance, like a military pre-exam thing. Or a test in his school gym or whatever. With such a specific number, time limit, and suspense date, obviously it's clear what he needs to do a specific thing, so telling him to do planks instead shows how goddamn dumb you are. Get some critical thinking skills. I bet you voted for Trump.

I'm a male....and I've actually gotten better. In boot camp I did like, 20.
My core is super weak from being a fat fuck my entire life. And the fact that I have a shit ton of loose skin from dropping 150lbs in 1.5 years doesn't help either.

Plan to cheat as much as possible. Thanks for the glute advice, didn't know about that.

not op but I got out of active duty and went into the guard. the guard does not give a flying fuck if you fail your PT test or not. Everyone in my section failed except for me. It's really sad.
On topic, OP is a lazy piece of shit. You're gonna fail if you're worrying about passing, especially with 3 days of prep left.
marcus riggletots ending endurance has good core strengtheners. my sit ups went up by 15 in a week

Do them with a tempo like
>1 second up
>1 second down
Count '1 Mississippi'

you need to do 25 in a minute. can you do 25 in a minute?
>>39238418
In that case you need 53.

I'm currently in the Navy. I'm a fatty who's slipped under the radar up til now.
Cheating is really common at boot camp. RDCs straight up tell people "no one should fail pushups or situps"....wink wink, nudge nudge.
>>39238983
Maybe your RDCs did, but don't lump the rest of us in with your lame division.
I had a bunch of people in my division get asmo'd because they couldn't do more than 10 push-ups or run a sat 1.5 mile.
Boot camp is so easy and requires so little of people that if you can't bring yourself up to that minimum you should even be putting pop tarts in a tray on a boat

I 5 lbs of loose skin hanging off me...I can do the pushups no problem, I can run my 1.5 mile in 11 minutes no problem. I spent nearly 2 years fixing myself before I even walked into a recruiter's office.
I lift every other day, and have had to fucking re-train myself how to walk and stand correctly because of how absolutely fucked my posture was before.
Excuse the fuck out of me for trying to do something with my life despite my nearly atrophied core muscles.
