I want to do keto so bad, is it worth it?

I want to spurge out on it really quickly and lose like 40lb, and afterwards I want to go Pescetarian full time and focus on vegetables/fruits/water more.

I just need my ass kicked so I can do it, I know if I focus I can pull it off.

Strong lifts for 3 months, then something aesthetic like PPL or PHUL for 3 months, then an intermediate strength program for 3 months (Greyskull? Texas method?), Then another aesthetic program

What's /fit/'s opinion on high volume for natties? I was reading something by Eric Helms where he said there's a point of diminishing returns when it comes to training volume.

I currently do a PHUL type routine with pretty high volume on the hypertrophy days. I don't have problems with recovery afaik, but could I get away with less volume? Can any brahs here share their experience/routines?

It's pretty simple. If you have overtraining symptoms you are overtraining and need to train less. If you don't you're fine.

Volume is always beneficial until it results in overtraining.

If you sleep a lot and eat a lot (your TDEE will be 5000ish depending on your height and how much cardio...) you can do a whole lot of volume

Okay guys, take a look.
My body is horribly deformed due to many years of neglect.

I also got spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis when I was about 14 if that matters at all. My doctor said within a year after the surgery I could do anything I wanted physically, including play football, of course I didn't move much at all throughout high school, but that's in the past now.

I know it's my fault but I'm ready to take responsibility and do whatever it takes to fix it. Before writing this I've been doing squat, deadlift, and overhead press (haven't bought a bench yet), as well as calisthenics when I don't have access to a bar.

Keep up the lifting. Make sure you are eating a shitload of calories. If you gain more fat than you like, cut them back a bit.

Seriously, eating is so important for making your body strong and decent looking.

I know that starving yourself isn't the way to cut.
But due to some stupid tax problems i wont have a dime for food this month.

And i can't loan anything from anybody so the question is.

What will be the effect of weightloss be on a 290lbs 6'
Also how do i avoid feeling like shit, should i tone down on coffee at work and go full water mode?

Hey /fit/, i just bought a rowing machine. My gym is a pain to get to so i figure when I'm too busy to make the trip to the gym I can do some rowing. What's the best way to use it for strength? Should I just do lots of 500m sprints on a high resistance?
