if that's not possible, RECOMP. alternatively, if you don't have to maintain your weight at all times, cut hard first and then bulk harder to hit back your weight class.

vegan protein powder

is whey the best?? i have this internal bias that vegan stuff is bullshit, but the raw garden of life one with greens look clean and healthy

I like to use vegan powders that only have 1-2 ingredients. I go for the simple solution. So far I've tried Biochem brand and 22Days brand.

The Biochem brand is inexpensive and gets the job done. A little clumpy but tastes like dark chocolate. I liked it in my smoothies. 22Days costs more but tasted better in coffee or milk. It has a bit of a fake sweet taste and I didn't like it in my smoothies. Next time I run out of SCOOPS I might try the Garden of Life or Sun Warrior brands.

Am I depressed /fit/?

I dont enjoy anything in life anymore. All the things I used to enjoy, video games, hanging out with friends, lifting, etc. They all bore me to death now.

Hell even females dont interest me anymore. When I go out to a club and I notice a girl taking interest in me I just ignore them until they go away. Even tried Tinder but even if I get matched with somebody who is really my type I just cant be bothered talking to them.

I still lift but not with motivation to get bigger or stronger. I just do my shit and leave.

Im starting to get worried. Last week I even worked 6 days, and I fucking hate my job. But everything is better than sitting at home, bored and alone.

Also, fuck off mods, mental health is closely related to physical health

I recently herniated 3 discs while squatting and I've been using box squats as a way to get back into squatting

This is as deep as I can currently go without any lumbar flexion and pain free

Do you think it's too high to get any benefits strength/hypertrophy wise or is it better than nothing?

For reference my best squat pre-injury was around 230kg/505lbs full depth

Today I did 160kg 5x3 with this box to ease back into things

I was always into powerlifting and 230kg @ 100kg is nothing noteworthy powerlifting wise

Yeah I don't squat

My knee started hurting at 1,5pl8
Now I have pain every time I climb shit and have to put all weight on that knee and push upwards. Gonna get it checked next time I'm at the corporate doc, but I'm probably not squatting again. Only slav squats without added weight. Maybe backpack.

Deadlifts are great though, just got 3pl8 5x5
