>that one girl that goes to the gym just to do butt and leg exercises
>>40789834
what else do she have to do?
>one girl
Isn't that every girl?
>that fat chick who does meme tier butt exercises and thinks she fools anyone with his disgusting fat stuffed into spandex
I wish this "thicc" meme would end. Fat chicks are gross
I've been lifting for a while, but my hand grip strength is noticably weak, I'm wondering if one of these is worth it for when I'm watching movies or something along those lines.
Are they even effective?
>>40789487
>Are they even effective?
yeah
>>40789487
No.
>>40789533
There is a huge selection, not sure what to buy though.
Looking fit is all nice and well, but I have a fucking terrible handshake for one, what is the point of looking fit if you don't have a comparable grip
ITT: we post tips which other anons might find helpful
I'll start;
After deadlifting, lie on your stomach for 10 minutes with your elbows supporting your upper body (like when you're reading a book/using your phone while lying on your stomach). It doesn't have to be immediatly after deadlifting, just sometime after your workout is fine (for example, if your workout is in the evening, you could do it later when you go to bed). Doing this will release a lot of tension on your spine and your back will feel much more healthy for the next couple of days
To figure out where to place your feet during a conventional deadlift, try to imagine you have to jump as high as you possibly can. How far apart would you place your feet in this scenario? That should be where you should place your feet during deadlifting because that's the position you'll build the most explosive power
If you want to grow your calves, do this: https://www.t-nation.com/training/answer-for-massive-calves
You WILL grow your calves if you do exactly what the article says and it only takes 10 minutes each day without requiring any equipment whatsoever. The article says you will put an inch on your calves in about a month, but i personally already put on an inch in 2 weeks. You will obviously not believe any of this because you're all desperately trying to tell yourself that your calves are impossible to grow, but just try it out even for 2 weeks and i promise you will see improvements. Measure your calves before you start doing this and after 2-4 weeks and you'll see for yourself.
Also, flex the shit out of your glutes with almost every weightlifting excercise you do
Flexing your glutes is like the key to unlocking all of your power and it will also tighten up your core a bit
Something I've done to help with 3x5 OHP stall: 3x8 DB press on bench days.
>>40788720
This is a pretty good one, especially if you sit down all day for work/school. Your core too for that matter
how do you quit smoking without gaining weight?
don't eat more food than you normally do
>>40787851
c'mon chump in case you didn't know smoking increases your metabolism by 50% through-out the day
>>40787830
Replace the smoking habit with something.
Every time you get a craving, drink a glass of water.
Chew the gum, get a patch.
Vape instead, just don't be a fag and make it part of your identity. Do it outside and out of sight.
Daily reminder that this is what men want.
>>40764768
I don't want this
>>40764768
Does she have the pointy teeth?
>>40764768
It's certainly what I want
>11pm
>at the gym
>empty cardio room
>qt blonde girl jumps on the treadmill beside me
>>40791162
why are you at a gym at 11pm?
>>40791162
When a girl jumps on the treadmill next to you when there's others available that means she wants to do you, right?
>>40791162
Tell her she's a fucking whore and needs to step off your territory.
Red pill me on James

Now that the dust has settled, was lifting actually worth it?
Yeah.
I look great and women want my fuck
>>40790893
Absolutely not.
It gave me body dysformia, a fucked up shoulder, accelerated balding (creatine+preworkouts), and more lonely since I lift so much.
Can't even stop lifting otherwise years of hard work would mean nothing
Yes. I think putting pyhsical stress on your body and pushing your limits by lifting hard is leads you to a stronger mindset and this is (at least for me) even more important than getting an aesthetic body desu
I want a wife, I want laws in place that will severely punish her if she cheats, and I want to assure that she doesn't get custody of my children or a single cent of my money if she wants a divorce.
This is all I want, nothing else.
I'm a NEET because my only motivation to work would be if I could achieve this, but it doesn't matter how much money I make or how good I look, I can't have it, at least not in the US. Not even the richest highest status men can have this.
I have no reason to contribute to society, and I've made decent gains but I've begun to realize there's no point in lifting weights anyway, it serves no practical use for me.

Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

>>40790462
I stopped after a heart attack
I've done keto for over a year, you need some fucking veggies dude. Your shits will be liquid pain if you don't.
Get 20-40g per day, all from vegetables. Put butter on them and bam you're getting fats too.
I've noticed that I'm starting to get pains just from moving weights around. For example doing, decline close grip bench (for triceps with an EZ bar), getting the Bar from a starting position to above my chest whilst I lie down is awkward. Same with doing standing tricep extensions and I need to put the weight down. Or if I'm grabbing a pre-weighted barbell of the rack and the one I want is on a higher rack. It's an awkward movement.
I honestly think these little pains I'm getting in my joints (Wrists, shoulders, etc.) is from manoeuvring the weights around to get to my starting positions. How do I help this?
Nothing? I really need advice here /fit I thought you guys were smart
How long have you been training?
Have you been doing the same routine daily?
Are you being careful during your movements?
Are you absolutely sure that your form is correct?
Give me more info, i can help.
>>40790610
Same guy.
If you are getting pain behind your elbow, then you may be developing tennis elbow. Look it up, and exercises to combat it.
A common cause for tennis elbow on weight lifters is the excesive development of the bicep, without the proper development of the brachioradialis muscle.
For this specific pain, which i suffered myself, you need to focus on doing AT LEAST the same amount of reverse curls, as you do curls. Do static hangs too (do a pullup but stay at the top as long as you can).
Look up how to do face pulls, they will help to remove any imbalance you may have on your shoulders.
For your wrist, you have to dedicate much more time to developing your forearm. Also, take care while using a computer, you may be on the way to develop carpal tunnel syndrome.
Really take some time to define what you do during the day that may put unnecessary strain your joints.
Which one of them is going to win this year?
we win because it's a good show
The strongest

Commerce, no one's beaten him yet
How bad is this for someone who knows nothing about rowing?
>randomly decided to row 150cal
>>40790112
Try to do the same pace at a low strokes per minute. Like reduce the 31 spm to 25 or lower but maintain the other numbers.
>>40790112
Calories aren't used as a measurement. Your split is. You pulled pretty much bang on a 2:00(/500m)split.
Go watch form videos because a) you can wreck your back over time if you snap the motion rather than control it smoothly b) you'll be slow as shit (you'd probably hold the same split at rate 20 with proper form, rather than 30 which is what you pulled)
>>40790112
Cal/hr is like measuring a car's speed in gallons/minute. Rowers use the time/500m.
Since you're new, technique is most important over fitness or bragging. Learn how to row properly from a rowing coach (don't waste your time with anyone affiliated with crossfit).

What are some routines/diets that will help me achieve losing 35 pounds in three months?
>>40790056

Clean diet and lots of cardio.
12lbs a month, or 3lbs a week, is realistic but you're gonna have to sweat baby. You may also try keto diet
eating less 4x15 sun-sat
