I went into Winn-Co. I put 3 suckers in my pocket and a strawberry-banana nectar in my other pocket. 98 cents. 98 fucking cents worth of merchandise. And I got a 250$ dollar fine.
People who don't think capitalistic companies are greedy and fucking over the people, not only with what they charge and sell, but how exploitative the fine is, are fucking stupid.
Anyway, HOW CAN I AVOID THIS FINE???
I'm broke as a choke, and I'm moving from Oregon to Tennessee this Friday. Is there anyway I can avoid this fine? And what will the penalties for that be? Damaging my credit? Court? Sue? Arrest?
And is this on my permanent record? They have a photo of me (grinning real wide) and the LP said it was only going on their system, but I'm not sure what to think.
Any information is appreciated.

This is not a situation where getting a lawyer is applicable. When OP was caught at the store and interrogated by LP, that would have been the time to ask for a lawyer. But also by requesting legal representation, that would mean LP was getting the police involved.
The fine is the resolution, unless OP wants to contest it in court, which considering they are actually guilty, would be pretty stupid.

tl;dr - Is cross party dating possible, particularly in the current climate?
I've always been open to dating (and have dated) people of any ideology. Through a combination of believing that it's impossible to really know the truth, and that people can't choose their beliefs anyways, it's never been a big deal to me. You believe what you want to believe, I'll believe whatever I want to believe, no big deal.
As I've gotten more experience, however, I've noticed that other people are not quite so accepting, and whenever I date a member of one ideological group in particular, they invariably try to change my beliefs to match theirs, and then dump me when I don't.
Fast forward to the present day and I have a dilemma. There are two women I'm talking to, let's call them Angela and Betty.
Now I slightly prefer Angela to Betty, I think our personalities are a better match, we have a lot of similar interests, and we're at the same educational level so we can discuss them intelligently. However, she's very passionate about this particular ideology, and I feel the only reason we've gotten on so well this far is that I've taken is because I've taken efforts to avoid mentioning I'm on the other side of that chasm. So I'm hesitant to move forward, if it wouldn't work out and would only ruin our friendship in the end.
Betty, on the other hand is also great, very attractive, and had a similar enough ideology to mine that we could get on. However we have less in common and I'm not sure I like her enough that I could fully commit to her. She's great, but there's not as much of a spark.
Should I just ride out the election with Betty, and see where it goes, or take a chance on Angela even though I know it'll probably fail? (Not dating either is also an option I'm seriously considering)

Get it in writing that they will hire you at the end. If you can't, I wouldn't risk leaving the job you have now. Lower your bills instead of (maybe) increasing your pay for some time, it's more sustainable.

Does anyone else here feel like they'll never have a social life or go anywhere in life? I just got out of college with a B.A but finding a job is tough, also I'm a 24 year old overweight weeaboo virgin friendless manlet who still lives with his parents. I'm working part time making $8 per hour, my mom is afraid if I was living on my own I'd just eat junk food and drink soda until I weigh 300 lbs, she already gets onto me about what I eat and drink currently. I need to lose a good 20lbs or 30lbs, also she's always telling me how to dress and style my hair because she thinks if I dressed how I want then girls would never find me attractive.
In a way I feel like she's right because if I was living on my own I'd probably live off soda and frozen dinners/pizza or some shit and just play video games, she really wants me to have a social life but I just don't know if it'll ever happen. I'm not very outgoing and I don't go out of my way to make friends, sometimes my mom and I argue because she's so worried where I'll be in a few years. She just doesn't like the fact that I'd be working and doing nothing else because I have no interest in anything, and it's not that I don't have interest in things, it's just I'm interested in things like anime and video games which she claims aren't really things people my age should be interested in.
I love my mom, but I hate that she worries so much. I mean I'm content with my situation, and I wouldn't mind just sitting inside all day eating junk food and playing video games, but she just doesn't want me to be a friendless obese loser sitting in his apartment with no friends or girlfriend. I've tried losing weight but I never stick with it, I'll be gung-ho about it for a week or two and then burn out. I mean it'd be nice to have friends/girlfriend who is into what I like, but it's hard to find people with my interests in my city for some reason. It's not like we have an anime club, or something of that nature in my town.

I have been to several anime conventions, the reason I haven't been to one in a while is because I don't want to go alone.
I have no friends and nobody to go with, I just really don't have fun attending conventions by myself. I always went with friends or something, also I've tried exercising, but as I stated it never lasts very long. I'll exercise for like two weeks and then burn out and lose motivation.

sounds like my mum.
