What you should have done is use a photo that's obviously not yours, for shits and giggles. You could have taken a random stock photo and put in in there for example.

You know what you do? You get rid of the picture and you don't tell anyone anything. Anyone asks, you stay glib, say it didn't work out and you don't want to talk about it.
