That's a good sign you're not in it for the long haul, generally when you're "in love" not even the hottest of girls can pull you away from your SO, because you have so much history and love together it just makes them into near perfect 9/10's.
I'd suggest dumping your current gf and leave her friend alone and try find someone else. Dating her friend will hurt her twice over because you would be betraying her and then her friend doing the same thing too... don't hurt her if you love her.
