Day 2 of the struggle.
I spent my last 900 on rent
I have 28 miles til empty in my car
A lil rice and I tilapia
I have a job but get paid firday
I signed up to do uber but only can do uber eats cause I have a 2 door, and even then I have to wait a week to be inspected
Anyone know any quick ways to make mo ey on k in that I can use in the next day or 2.

I have never drank water.
At least not more than an ocassional glass.
When I was a child my parents always bought coke for me. I don't know why they thought this was a good idea, but they never put a stop to it.
I've been drinking at least two liters a day. It may be one of the reasons I was very much fat in high school. I switched to diet coke a long time ago and became thin in a matter of months. However, I'm 24 y/o, and I'm still drinking 2 liters of diet coke a day (now it's summer, usually one or one and a half liters during winter).
I am genuinely addicted to this shit. When I don't have it, I feel my mind starts to get foggy and my body feels tired. Since I don't like water, I may replacement with some orange or apple juice, but I also need to drink some coffee to feel 'awake' as I feel after start my drink with some glasses of diet coke.
Any tips to quit?

Well for starters, drink water even without trying to cut soda out until you grow used to the taste. You can use water with a bit of lemon to start and then work your way up to actual water.
Orange and apple juice are better than soda, but still contain a lot of sugar and are bad for your teeth.
I don't have real tips for quitting soda after drinking it so much, obviously it's a lot of sugar to compensate for. How long have you tried it before stopping your attempt? (Aka how long does the "brain fog" persist if you break the habit?)

What the fuck is wrong with me.
I have a lot of friends, males and females, I hang out with them very often, sometimes I even squabble with them because I go with someone else instead of them. Everyone likes me wherever I go, you could say I'm "that guy" but from a very positive point of view. I don't have any problem with girls, I can easily talk with them and I can have close contacts without all that anxiety shit. This premise is needed to know that I'm not one of those depressed guys that this web site is full of. I'm absolutely happy with my social life state and I couldn't ask for more. So my question is: why I don't have a girlfriend? I mean, a lot of girls seem to like me, sometimes they USE me to talk about a boy that they like, for instance, or something like that, I'm aware of that. But that's ok because when they start doing that, I do the same. So in general they look for me, they want to talk to me and they get upset when I don't talk to them for a lot of time. Many girls have told me that they like me because I'm funny, extrovert, I say what I want to say and all this stuff. So, what's the problem here? Why can't I make the next step? Feel free to ask questions if you need to.

I want to drop out of/transfer from my prestigious University (English degree) to an average college (funeral planning w/ embalming).
Problem is: I feel like I'm going through my rebellious stage now rather then when I was a teenager, I went to university because my parents 'made me', Office jobs because that's what my parents expected, model child etc.
End of last semester I had a mental break down and ended up in the hospital and failed half my classes because I never went through the paperwork process of informing my school why I'd be having trouble with class etc. After the hospital ordeal I got drunk like I usual do because alcoholism and called my mommy to complain about my problems and ask for help. This is where shit got worse. Basically I realized how little my parents care about my health and happiness and that they just care about me being the child they expect.
I was actually doing pretty good for myself. $20/hr office jobs, honour student, social life, but of course I was still a disappointment.
I moved back in with my parents, after my mother convinced me, for this semester and it's been absolutely painful. I feel like I'm at the point where they make me feel like such shit I don't feel as obligated to make them happy.
I could still pull my university career out of the dumpster if I put effort into it but;

I have three years left of uni because it's a 5 year program, I won't be able to afford that. I'd have to be an independent in the eyes of the country to qualify for government loans, and right now I'm listed as a dependent for the tax deductions (tm). My parents wouldn't let that happen, so I would be stuck taking out a loan from them which further entrenches me in parental hell.

I work at a bbq restaurant as a busboy. There's a creek behind the woods of the restaurant. Im planning on buying a tent as it is a perfect place to chill. Plan on camping in the woods next to work for a few months until I can pay full for a decent calcareous I can live in for a while. Am I being a faggot?
My bf and I were supposed to hang out last yesterday which we planned a few days in advance. He tells me after work (he worked 12-4) that he was tired and asked if we could just hang out tomorrow (today) if I didn't feel like driving there. Being that I worked 8-4:30, I was pretty beat myself and said tomorrow was fine.
Fast forward to fucking 10:30 at night to which a friend asked him to help him with a pc related problem. Suddenly he had the energy to go out to help someone out. Adding to that, he stayed there til 3 a.m. working on the problem...
This has happened before, so today I think it's time to cut this relationship off, but I wanted to know if I'm being an asshole? If I did something at the last minute after telling him I was tired and didn't want to come over, I know he'd be upset on the other side of the table.
I doubt anyone is going to give a decent answer, but I want to ask anyway prior to destruction and singledom.

I'm a freshman in university. Studying something I have learned that I absolutely hate - Systemadministrator.
I have good grades so far but I'm unsure if I want to work with this in the future. I'm a former military so I find it hard to adapt to the sedentary lifestyle, eating bad food and snacks. I find no time to work out either so even that makes me feel ill. I really want to go back to the military but I feel like I let my parents down as they know that I can get this degree and they know what's out there for me.
Has anyone here studied Network and Systemadministration before? If so I really need motivation to continue with this.

Well, IT has always fascinated me. I'm good with IT and have good understanding for it. My father work with IT so he encouraged me into the field and I kind of grew into it but now I don't have the same feeling towards it.
The problem is that there's much to do outside the lectures, we do laborations with different operating systems. We're expected to do these laborations outside normal times like on late evenings and nights.

Got caught driving with a permit in NJ
I live with my wife and mom. They usually drive or I drive with them in the car. Yesterday my wife was at school and my mom had to cover someone at work. I had no one to drive me home so she told me to just use her car and be careful. I went to work just fine but I got stopped literally 4 blocks from my house because a headlight was broken.
I told the cop the entire truth. He cut me some slack and told me to call my wife to drive the car home or else he would have to towe it. I got 4 tickets: one for broken taillight [$58], one for no possessing a DL [180], a summons for my mother and a summons for me.
I don't know what to do we have no money to pay anything as we are visiting my country in 3 weeks after 8 years of not going. My road test was supposed to be yesterday but since I had work I couldn't take it. Should we hire a lawyer? I explained the cop my financial situation and he told me to look for him during court date so he could talk to the judge and prosecutor.
I know what I did was illegal and I broke the law so please keep those comments to yourself
