32/m, 390lb. I cannot stay on a low-cal diet for the life of me. I go a day or two, and my body starts acting on its own. Next thing I know, I have a bigmac and 20 nuggets half down my throat.
I've seen a lot of stories about water fasting, about people who go cold turkey when it comes to eating. Taking a week or more on nothing but water/coffee/tea, and some salt and multivitamins. Stomachs shrinking, higher energy, and loss of apatite are some of the success stories.
I am a person who has NEVER missed a meal in his life, and want to reprogram myself. Tech myself that "no, you aren't starving to death, you will not stop breathing if you don't get some fries in you this second". Going cold turkey is something I know a bit about, as I've quit 3 years of smoking a pack a day, and 5 years of heavy vodka drinking the same way. The first few days are hard, with one day feeling like fucking murder. Then, the pain goes and things are OK. If I can do that with nicotine an ethanol, I can do it for calories.
Lets rock.

Sounds hard to pull of but shit, why not give it a try for a week or two.
Although you'd still need to try doing exercise and when you pick food up again, going low cal/high protein diet.

Girl I was seeing decided she didn't want a relationship right now, as in, with me. Everything was going great or so I thought but ok cool, and I go do my own thing. I'm sure her single friend had some influence too as I could tell there was some pack/herd mentality going on there along with a couple new fun guys this friend brought into the picture.
Few months later she comes back, start fucking, she's falling for me (or the dick) and suddenly I'm the best guy she's ever dated, wants to be my long term, other affirmations whatever.
I've talked to her about this and got the responses I expected. I wasn't interested in these guys at all, she just invited me out and I went, but we weren't dating at the time so what does it matter.
Now I'm just wondering, am I the safe bet? Second choice? Something else didn't work out and she got pumped and dumped? I know I'm a great guy and shouldn't have these insecure thoughts, but it eats away at me, especially when this friend comes around and reminds me of when I apparently wasn't enough the first time around.
Are these thoughts/feelings warranted? Thinking too much? Look for someone who realizes what they have the first time around?
All I wanted was a steady positive progression of a meaningful relationship the first time around, not feeling distrustful and cautious on a second go..

This girl will do this to you again if you enter a relationship but she'll create a reason for a break, go fuck around and when its out of her system expect to resume. What would be the drawbacks of NOT paying for orthodonty, braces, and other dental corrective measures for a child? Is it more expensive or more difficult/risky to carry out later on?
As adults is it appropriate for us to make this decision if it is against the child's wishes? How about if the position is reversed?

Treatment initiated in adulthood tends to take longer and the teeth can revert to their original state. It is better to correct things whilst they are still growing

However, they do not automatically have the right to refuse treatment or intervention. That power lies with the parents until the age of 18.
The child refusing braces/whatever else is done due to fear of pain/discomfort, fear of bullying or whatever else. This fear can over-ride the decision-making process and hence the child would probably not truly understand the consequences of not receiving treatment.
Legally, therefore, you are entitled to consent to treatment on their behalf and against their preference. This is just as the child is potentially going to be at longer-term risk of physical/psychological harm without treatment

So my friend came to my place writhing in agony along with his gf who was as well...
They apparently decided to be wild and invited another woman into a 3way. No idea who or where they met her.
And at the end as they were passed out said lady shoved a funnel in his dick and dumped a mix of hot peppers and cinnamon down his dick hole and then his gf's vagina and pee hole. The burn woke them up. They don't know what happened with her cause they got out in a hurry.
Long story short should they go to the ER its like 5am and I am not awake enough to deal with their dumb asses. Oh and do either of those cause damage?

Well, I never expected this to happen but it truly is so I'm not really sure what else to say.

I know that suicide is never the way out but what I've described is already happening, if I continue living the rest of my life will just be waiting for this to progress, probably will end up really deformed and in chronic pain of my own doing.
I actually have a suicide note drafted and went to the city today looking for buildings to jump from, most were block apartments that had the rooftop locked. Managed to get into a hotel and have the one of the staff let me onto the top because he thought I wanted to use the pool. Didn't have the kahoonies to jump from a 10 storey building but kept looking down, ended up going home.
I'd love to say that I have the will to live but really the only pleasure I get is masturbation aside from this encroaching... state of being. I have a lot of psychiatric medication stocked up, mainly benzos (Olanzapine, Seraquell) and sleeping pills (Imrest) and am going to try to get my hands on some painkillers. Nervous about failing to overdose and ending up a vegetable, having to live with my family's distress, at this point would jumping be better?
How am I supposed to live? What does an overdose feel like? I poo poo pissed my chance at life, /adv/, with no treatment options, what am I supposed to do?

My dad had something similar, kinda. His digestive tract was gummed up, and wouldn't absorb any nutrients from his food. Basically he'd shit out whatever he ate, and receive little or no sustenance from it. He ate some sort of clay (doctors orders), which hardened in his intestines, and scraped out whatever was gumming them up. I don't know specifics, I was very young at the time and he has passed now.
Maybe look into that. Why not try different things and see if anything works, right?
Is it worth settling for a single mom??

What's the best way/easiest way to start a business? By this I mean what's a good path to take to start my own. I was thinking a trade like electrician or plumber, before I make a commitment to either I would like to know if anyone here has some other ideas. Or personal experiences, though maybe this isn't the best place for that.
Or maybe you'd recommend against it, though it's something I would like to do and it doesn't necessarily matter what field it's in.

Three main girls in my life. L is my current GF we have been dating three years. C has been the long term side-hoe for the past 2 years. N is new I see her as a new beginning. I have my own car and a job.
L and I were high-school sweethearts she goes to Uni 45 minutes away from my Uni (we both dorm), I see her every weekend and she is definitely wifey material. But I feel as though because of my cheating history with C we can never truly be happy together (more on that after). L is solid 7-8/10 but personality is 1000% seriously love her. Also 45 minutes isn't impossible but annoying to drive every weekend.
C and I have been fucking for two years she has been waiting for me to leave my girlfriend for 2 years. She Goes to my Uni now lives in the room above mine(she said she went specifically for me). Problem is she has willingly helped me cheat on my GF L and because of this I feel as though I cant trust her to not cheat on me. Also psycho she has been signed into my IG for the past year has read all my messages with not just L and N but with other girls as well. C is solid 9/10 just a big ass head but ill deal.
N and I are new (4 months) havn't had sex, she is drop dead 10/10 amazing personality, models, Spanish Mami. Seriously my dream girl. Also she is a senior in high school she plans on going to my school in September if everything goes well (not sure how reliable that is).

Should I be concerned if my girlfriends best friend is a guy?
They dont have any sexual history that im aware of and he lives in a different city but is in town during the breaks and they hang out. She talks to him probably every day too. On one hand I dont like the idea of me sharing her emotionally with other men (most of her other friends are guys too).
