Has it ever been explained or shown how the fuck a marine can fit into terminator armor, without needing major surgery to change the structure of his bones?

>>48666052
Nigga can't even turn his head. Fuck terminator armor, I'd stick to the regular shit
Also not how the best Primarchs (Russ etc) shunned termie armor
>>48666152
Vision isn't a problem with Terminator armor- it has cameras and other sensors including echolocation that basically give you a three dimensional map of the entire area, along with a full view of vision including your back IIRC. It's so much information it can cause marines to lose focus and even make them fall over. Like if you suddenly grew ten eyes over your body.
With the last remaining pockets of resistance cleared out on the surface of the desolate world anchoring Station 88 your Reconstructed turn to scouring the world for these supposed ruins that drew the Confederates in the first place. Nails and Coffins fly search patterns alongside the serpentine Drakes searching through canyons and mountains. It did not take long for a high flying Drake to spot something odd with the placement of rubble at the base of a steep cliff-face.
Folding its wings against its body it plummets like a shot through the air before unfurling them with a snap of air to descend slowly to the ground. Up close it was easy to see the area had been recently occupied with vehicle tracks and debris from excavations. The cliff-face showed signs or recent collapse and a closer look revealed it had been detonated to cause it to fall, explaining the heavy pile of rubble.
By that point a Coffin appeared with a team of Reconstructed and as it lands the Drake gives a mighty flap of its wings to return to the air. Trolls and a lumbering Brute emerge and begin hauling away the rubble and before long they reveal the edges of a large opening. As they cleared more under the morning sun they spot carvings in the stone not destroyed and soon your suspicions were confirmed as the Brute hauls away a slab of stone that revealed carvings in the stone wall.
Dominated by a depiction of a swirling star, while faded and worn, it was a bittersweet sight. The symbol of the Wormstar with the sigil of Ruscuv one of your lesser sisters in lichdom, a grasping claw of a hand reaching for the star, carved below it. As your Reconstructed continued to haul away the rubble they are quickly reinforced by more troops and a small base being constructed from materials brought by Coffin.
You could only guess what awaited you below in this vault as Gargoyles moved to search the darkness.

Good morning and welcome back to Ask A Judge!
I pop quest for pure flame and activate my Heartless Hidetsugu who's holding a Loxodon warhammer. I have an even life total. Do I lose?
>>48636909
You do not. Lifelink means that as part of the damage that Hidetsugu does, you immediately gain that much life. So Quest's replacement effect doubles the effectiveness of Hidetsugu, hitting you for your full life total, and all of the other players for half of their life total, rounded down, then doubled (which will kill them at an even life total, and leave them at 1 if they're at an odd life total). You'll gain as much life as Hidetsugu does damage, so for yourself you'll take damage equal to your life total and gain that much life at the same time, just totally nullifying the damage effectively, and then you'll gain more for him doming your opponents on top of that.

I have Corpsejack Menace and hardened scales out. Drana, Liberator of Malakir attacks and triggers. Both have an intervening if clause, would only one trigger resolve?
Alright to start off somebody needs to roll a 1d10.

Alright so the Chapter was founded as a standing force.

What's the best name for the classification of swords that are a step larger than a greatsword/two-handed sword?
That's a big sword.

Seriously though, just call them greatswords and the smaller realistic twohanded swords two-handers. Simple, clean, easy.
Psst. Hey, you. Yeah, you there, with the sword.
Y'know, that's a solid, dependable weapon you've got there. But you're not going to turn any heads when everyone else in the party is shooting off fireballs. Why not try something a little more... exotic?
I don't harvest wheat, sorry
>Why not try something a little more... exotic?
... like a big sword?

I know. You're gonna say "a scythe isn't realistic, it's completely impractical as a melee weapon." But, really, didn't realism go out the window the second the guy who turns into a bear joined up?
C'mon, give me a swing. You won't regret it.

Welcome to the Accidental Magical Girl thread!
Various worlds and multiverses have become connected together via the mysterious Overcity, a sprawling landscape inhabited by monsters and magical beings. Girls and boys endowed with their new supernatural powers can work together solving conflicts that arise!
>This is NOT a greentext adventure style CYOA with one GM and thread posting to dictate the adventure, but rather a hub thread for multiple storycrafters to use. A majority of activity (including campaigns) instead happens in the IRC, which is open for newbies to join.
Characters can be rolled with either the CYOA's purple PDF which is intended as a writing prompt and is in the process of developing an independent auxiliary combat system, or AMGC's blue pdf which contains combat rules for PNP campaigns along with the rolls. The IRC mostly uses AMGC.
Post builds, roleplay, write stuff.

Woooow.
I guess it doesn't matter, because I already have to write everything other than the characters and spells anyway, and pretty much homebrew the shit out of the rest of it because we got three half-baked books pretending to be OSR.
So, after the informative and interesting discussion/ideas from last thread, I'm curious to see if anyone has any more interesting thoughts to toss into the mix.
Fire away, /tg/.

also, I set up a sector map.
not complete, mind you.
basic gist from last thread is that this sector is at the edge of Segmentum Solar, bordering Ultima near the galactic core.
Lots of mineral rich worlds that are being mined, lots of radiation so expect quite a few deathworlds. On the bright side, algal growths are used as agricultural products.
A penitent chapter of astartes are in the neighborhood, some cults are trying to screw things up, pirates, eldar, etc.
you know the drill.

The usual then. I imagine it's a place the Red Corsairs love to come and fuck shit up in

Will blue and red get their upswing?
Will thopters return?
Will noncreature spells be worse then creatures?
Discus.

>>Information
This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a sixteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.
>Rules
At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.
In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins
Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.
Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process
I hope everyone has fun.

>>48656320
>Another contrived game-based-morality thread
Well let's do this anyways even though I loathe it:
Red represents freedom, passion, and violence
Black represents greed, selfishness and solitude
So we take the least negative attributes: maybe solitude and passion, and create a character from it.
So my character is a lonely painter, who expresses himself through his art and just wants to be understood by other people but can't ever seem to fit in.
Just noticed actually, before I hit post, that you said faction, not character.
Okay, as for faction, it's the same principle, you have a loose network of people who decide to live away from society (solitude, freedom) and live lives as they see fit according to their own moral codes. This group would be more anti-society than pro-whatever. Defined more by what they aren't than what they are.
