So instead you hobble next to the lip of the Shaft and take a seat next to Brigette, then look up at everyone else. "River, can you head back to Split and tell the others what happened?" you ask. "Razor Feathers, and Catherine, and all the rest that are heading back to the Roost. Tell Catherine that I need her thoughts on how to conduct this war."

"I will," River promises softly. She squeezes your shoulder, then Brigette's, and leaves with Tina and Lark.

"Who got them?" you ask Brigette, softly. "Where's Natalia?"

"Natalia's fine," Brigette murmurs. "Silence...called her, somehow. It was like words made of quiet, booming in that absent way like her bell does, and she...she said if Nattie wanted to make up for being a traitor, now was her moment. And Nattie, she just vanished there somehow. Maybe she's got teleport runes buried somewhere, maybe...maybe Silence just /called/ her."

"How do you know she's fine?" Nathan asks.

"She told Victoria. On Silence's communication bell," Brigette whispers.

You look up at Nathan and Amy. "Go on ahead. Help who you can. I'll be after shortly."

Nathan nods, solemnly. Amy stops to hug you both, folding her wings around you while her feathers play a jangling sound of mourning. It almost sounds like they're sobbing.

"We'll have our revenge," Amy murmurs.

"I won't," comes Brigette's miserable answer.

You take the bottle from Brigette as your lovers leave and take a slug from it yourself. It burns in a pleasant way. A numbing way.

"I tried to go with her," Brigette whispers. "I tried so many words. 'Leave'. 'Go'. 'Dispel'. 'Free'. Lora's will is like a damn vice. I had to sit here and...and listen to nothing but quiet until they told me. Natalia's all tore up. She had a thing for Jack..."

You hug Brigette around the shoulders, and she buries her face in your chest and screams in frustration, in grief, in sorrow.

Any particular difference between Infinity and Deadzone? I'm particulary interested into Deadzone because the Forge Fathers (dwarves) models but Infinity looks like the more "easy" to get into without a huge money investment. What do you suggest?

Give Magnitude a 5xp cost per dot, and they can be played just as easily as mortals with supernatural merits.

Yep, the cost is the same for whichever trait or ability you're trying to increase. So Enhanced Strength +5 costs 10 points, and you add 5 ranks to your Strength.

>Power Level Limits
There are limits based on power level for attack, defense, and skill bonuses. It's in the book.

Sounds pretty cool actually. They now have a reason to be known as sneaks and thieves; rather than just being small and dexterous, they can easily flow through cracks and poorly sealed portals (plus the racial domino masks). They also have a reason to adventure (find hip fresh shit), and their weakness to water would be interesting in-play.

There's no real reason for them to retrofit them, it's not like the Imperium is short on tanks. They'd have shitty armour and guns compared to 40k tanks. I'd expect them to be museum or archive pieces, perhaps shipped to Mars for study and preservation.

Shitty guns? LRBT use a 120mm main gun. The gun itself would be fine. I think the ammunition the Imperium uses is simply insanely powerful.

I don't recall the armor values of a Russ but IIRC they're not that thick. The question is what is the RHA equivalent of Imperial tank armor? I'd bet Leos with their vastly superior mobility would still be valuable, albeit very fragile, assets.

Swap the metro with FO Chaussur. Depending on the mission you will want a lot of orders for him, and early the Chaus is more survivable so it can fuel M&D.

Games that directly and completely simulate traditional games: Chess, Mahjong, Go, Poker, etc.

I like CRPGs but they're not like the traditional pnp versions. They just aren't.

Warcraft has some particularly shitty lore. Really, the only reason you'd ever want to continue with it is if you invested a stupid amount of time into the game, and you're so far into the sunk-cost fallacy that you'll never admit that it's got writing on par with what you'd find on gaia online.

I doubt any of you actually even could use it for running a game, considering how flimsy and impersonal it all is.
