The Jews did not raise a hand or voice in protest. 'Whom God has cursed, is it lawful to succour?' For God's curse was held to descend to a man's children. These princesses were aged only six and ten years when they were so mistreated.

>First goblin ambush encounter begins
>Decided to let AL’s barehanded blows do 1D8 instead of 1D4 because I didn’t want to let that player be deadweight. Also give him unarmed proficiency. And let it count as dual wielding. Again, first D&D session, no idea what we were doing.

The Night Lords were one of the original Space Marine Legions to go rouge. Unlike the other traitors, the Night Lords didn't fall to Chaos, and are just renegade marines.

They love jump-packs, being sneaky, stabbing people, and more than anything: scaring the fucking shit out of people. Their MO is terror tactics and psychological warfare.

In terms of gameplay they're a bit kneecapped by having to share a Codex with Chaos Space Marines, despite them not using Chaos power. You could run, maybe, a Raven Guard Chapter Tactics instead. They also leave a lot of room open for converting, since you might want them to look more "Night Lord" than "Chaos".

Their Primarch (now dead) was Konrad Curze, who was like if you took the hybrid spawn of The Punisher, Batman, and Marlon Brando in Apocalypse now, and made him an emo psychopath.

Mechanically I'm finding guildball the most fun right now. Doesn't really require any terrain either which is huge for me. All the rules and even paper cutouts for the models are available here http://steamforged.com/resources/ check out the quick start rules and see if it looks like your thing. I guess the one downside for me is its a sports ball game and I prefer war gaming.

I still play other systems, try out and look at new ones, but I can't help but think "no, this really isn't as good as GURPS" whenever I'm playing anything else.

Well, they're pretty old as far as minor factions go. I think their original fluff was in 2nd Edition? They've been doing what they're doing longer than a lot of the other groups you mentioned got that stuff as their shtick.

Magical golden ring. When you wear it, it slowly converts you finger, hand, arm, into impossibly-intricate golden machinery. Gives you a dex bonus with that hand, and armor bonus. The ring is also the power source for this machinery, and if it's removed the limb will be useless.
If the machinery converts your heart, removing the ring results in death.
If the machinery converts your brain, some bad shit probably happens.

Basic gist of it was a little lifeless origami person would come to life after saying the phrase written on its head and would follow commands within its abilities. You could fold him into any shape or object (paper plane,swan, etc.)
Poor guy died in a puddle, trying to bring us a key.

My BBEG came from an ancient but incredibly advanced civilization (crystals errywhere) that accidentally ended itself by going full Third Impact, merging into a collective consciousness super-being, and ascending into the celestial realm never to be seen again and leaving their civilization behind to crumble with the ages.
