So a friend and I were talking and we were wondering what it would be like if you transferred Nirn over to 40k as a planet near the rim of the eye of terror. And Further, what if one of the Primarchs landed on Nirn in Skyrim two weeks before Ulfric kills Torygg (I believe that's how long it takes a primarch to grow up). The primarch may or may not be the dragon born, What would/could he get done before his legion finds him?

>If Nirn was a planet by the eye of terror
It would we a cool idea
>If a primarch landed on it
It would ruin the cool idea.

More importantly, what chaos deities would the different daedric gods be?

These are the kind of questions i was hoping people deeper into the lore than i am could answer. I had asumed the princes would simply be powerful daemons.

Well Khorne is right out since they're all too friendly to mages, so Sanguine is Slaanesh, Hermy is Tzeentch, and Namira is Nurgle in a dress

To the anons who recommended Rule the Waves to me. I don't know if I should thank you for introducing me to such an awesome game, or blame you for the fact that I haven't been getting anything else done since I got it.

What about roleplaying games that feature naval combat as opposed to strict wargames?

Everyone talks about how much they fucking love diesel/steam punk, but the actual hardware always seems to get glossed over.
>>
>>49869273
Plug the preferred RPG of your choice into the preferred naval combat wargame of your choice and voila, naval combat RPG.

I know table top crunch wise that Kharn can kill Lucius, but talking strictly Fluff, can Kharn both win a fight against Lucius and do so without become The Eternal himself?

D&D 3,5, all characters are gestalt Sorcerers mixed with either monks, rogues, ninjas or maybe scouts.

What are some of the oddest or most unique characters that people have played in your games?

Recently we started playing 5e and our party was pretty standard. A hardy Dwarf fighter, human war cleric and human monk.
However we were soon joined by crossdressing femboy Tiefling bard. Which actually came in handy since they had a pretty good disguise bonus and could pass when we needed two characters to pose as a husband and wife couple to infiltrate a party.

Unique is binary. Something is or is not unique. You cannot be more unique than anyone else.

Tiefling racist warlock
He was convinced humans were the scum of the earth, and touted it loudly on a daily basis. Bartered with people for quadruple reverse mortgages on their souls, because he "could put a good word in for ya' if you asked nicely". Congenial to everyone in the land but humans.

Chinese recasters seem to have raised their prices to the level where I'm better off taking 20 percent off retail price through a friend who runs a FLGS. Whoop de do, here's Orktimus Prime.

That feeling when its cheaper to buy from games workshop rather than recasters.

Oh, Wait that's always as recasters produce inferior products.

>Which recasters are you referring to? None of the ones I use have raised their prices to that point.
This is probably a GW plant thread. They make them on /tg/ all the time these days, fishing for links to recaster sites so they can issue C&D orders.

Can we finally agree that druids are useless cucks?

They are outgunned in every department.
>Magic weaker than wizards and sorcerers
>Physically handicapped in comparison to fighters and rogues
>Vampiric pig goblin-tier charisma
>Less wise than a trump supporting monk
>Gets cucked in manly bear form

So what are druids good for?

Furries and otherkin who just want wish fulfillment?
>>
>>49866727
They usually end up being around top tier either way though because

1. the viable summons they can do match up close enough to what the absolute top tier wizards can do

2. they can do most of the top tier stuff clerics can do

3. Druids are physically stronger both in normal and in animal form than their fellow caster counterparts

4. They can combine some level of the above in various ways giving the player the most versatile and thus mechanically interesting class of them all

I want to put a little side quest on my 5e campaign in the shady, spooky town my players just reached. I want it to be some scooby doo style mistery solving quest, rp and skill heavy, not much combat. The party is composed of a monk, a sorcerer, a barbarian, a rogue, a paladin and a cleric. Do you guys have any ideas?

Hi ! I've been really interested in Warhammer for awhile, but i've always thought it was too expensive for me but now that i've got some money laying around I want to try and start up.
Any tips on what faction to join and how to find games ? I'm thinking Astra Militarum because I like the army look, but I was wondering if any of the factions were arguably better then the other - I also thought Fenrir at first, but there's so little of them compared to everyone else.

This. It's a massive pit of autism and shit crunch/fluff fueled by solid gold that you must provide.

If you do play anything play Imperial Guard.
>>
Make some friends at your LFGS, and ask if you can try a game with them. Get a demo at a GW store. Know that you're gonna be spending entirely too much money and time on this dumb hobby. Don't spend money on any army unless you've played a few games with them.

Real motivation- how do?

In a desperate bid to break with my existing campaign, I've offered to run a new one. I don't want to get too specific since I know two players read here. But motivation is killing me right now. I pretty much threw myself into getting this ready and the system learned, and I'm burned out before any players have even given me a concept for their characters yet... and before I've even got a coherent plot together. I don't want to run this any more, and if I do run it it'll probably suck, but I don't want to disappoint them and leave us with the shit campaign we have going now (not me as GM). This happens every time I set up to GM; I don't want to do it, but we *need* someone new to GM, and no one else is willing to try.

What do, /tg/?

although it depends on the system in question, either make the game generic and fill in intesting things as you go or make the campaign semi-interconnected vignettes.

How does /tg/ feel about Torchbearer?
5e is alright, but I really have been craving something of a more survivalist bent in my games.
How does it do? Is it a pain in the ass to run? Is it TOO hardcore?

Like all Luke Crane games, its structure takes some getting used to. It does what it says on the tin though: resource management driven dungeon crawling that is fairly lethal.
