Unless you want to be an amnesiac dragon in human form you tell him no. As a DM I wouldn't tell any player something so stupid as the character you created isn't the character you created. I might ask but I wouldn't tell. It's an imposition upon the player's conception of the character and distinctly interferes with the player's agency.

If you do want it, just play as you want. Only two people know. If DM tells you you're doing it wrong ask him whose character it is. Things to think about is why is the dragon in human form, does it actually care about short lived species who will die of old age before it reaches adulthood, how will it hide that it basically every encounter with monsters is meaningless as it's one of the most powerful creatures alive. WotC decided that copper dragons have bad senses of humour and get offended if people don't laugh at its jokes.

I have two pantheons for my novel- the pantheon of Order and the pantheon of Chaos. Neither are innately good or evil, with the exception of one god from each pantheon.

Both pantheons aren't really right in the head- this is due to the Order gods being embodiments of human emotions and concepts, and the Chaos gods being embodiments of singular human emotions and concepts.

The only two "good" gods are the Order goddess of balance and the Chaos god of freedom and discord. Both work within, and against their respective pantheons to prevent one from becoming more powerful than the other.

This is because balance is, essentially, a form of order whose existence is dependent on acknowledging chaos and embracing it, to some degree- and the god of discord thinks it's just fuckin hilarious to take the powerful down a notch.

Need ideas for other chaos and order gods plz.

I already play a character like this. It works really well - just means being very good at bluffing and deceiving in very specific ways. I don't know if it's all that unusual since it's really just a con artist.

So years ago I was putting up with a lot of edgelord freeform RPers who were all doing some variation on "Gain power from other people's fear," and I was getting annoyed with it. I decided to draft up a form of magic that worked based on the user himself being afraid, thereby stealing the power these other fear-eaters were getting before they could use it.

In addition to annoying a lot of assholes and getting me kicked out of an SL I shouldn't have used in the first place, I wrote it up as an Unknown Armies adept school and put it on John Tynes' website. I can't seem to access it right now but here's some of the more important points:

-Charge magic by running away from things that are part of your Fear Stimulus at varying degrees of severity, or gaining new phobias.
-Taboo indicating the caster had to make at least some serious attempt to escape the source of fear before confronting it directly.
-Attack spells that made striking with a melee weapon more effective and physical abilities more effective in general as part of the adrenaline-rush response to fear.
-More esoteric spells like better chance of success at any skill as long as the caster believed, wrongly or otherwise, that failure would result in their death.

How would you expand on this school to add more things that require the caster to be afraid instead of making other people afraid?

I'd say Fin evenly dips between Barbarian, and Paladin, in a setting where Barbarians don't need to be chaotic. Lately, he probably started taking levels in fighter though.

Soloman Kane from the mind of Robert E. Howard is generally considered the founding influence behind the whole "Wide-brimmed hat + cool long coat" aesthetic that the Witch Hunters and Inquisitors tend to borrow.

If I were a TTRPG villain, I'd be the anti-thetical twin brother of the ~fabulous~ bard who derives his power from CHA penalties where the bard derives it from CHA bonuses. That'd actually make for a pretty neat encounter.

As a matter of fact, I have voiced this concern. The response is more or less "chill out it'all be fun" across the board, but I don't think it does particularly seem fun. That's why I'm asking you guys now.

Best thing you can do really is RUN THE GAME YOU WANT TO PLAY.
This will get the system exposure, give people experience and get you a group. Once you weed out the bad players and replace them you'll find a decent group to play with.

I am very lucky: I found a good group for Mutants & Masterminds with which I gamed for a year and now I've found another good group for a 5e homebrew setting game and none of the players have dropped out without warning or are That Guy.

We all get along just fine and we actually make a good team (Dragonborn Fighter, Human Ranger, Pixie Rogue and Half-Elf Druid)
The GM is also legit and fun to play with.

Gonna have to agree with this.

The Khan actually does have a pretty decent-sized fan base because he actually has a dynamic personality by Primarch standards. He's also probably the least-Skubbed Primarch next to Vulkan.

But I think Ferrus doesn't get nearly enough spotlight. He's interesting, in he's incredibly loyal and dutiful but takes absolutely no joy from it. He's almost like Pert, minus the persecution complex.

He's a Literally Who on a team of demi-gods and I think that's unfair because I feel like he'd be pretty interesting if he got the spotlight.
