I'm new to this and this question might be stupid as fuck, but I've loaded my Olympus OM10 with film, but my wind sever is stuck on "2.", and I can't really seem to wind to picture 1. Does anyone know how if it's jammed or if there is a way to reset the sever?
Its stuck on "S." and not 2 lol
>>2955531
You have fresh batteries in right?
I used to have an OM10 years ago, IIRC it needs power to wind the lever and to shoot.
Also it's on "S" not 2.
If your batteries are fine and there's no battery acid corrosion that would've destroyed your circuits, it's likely that there's hardened grease inside the lever mechanism in your camera and you'd have to open it up to clean it out.
>>2955538
I'm able to turn it on, the red indicator is lit in the viewfinder when i turn it on. And yeah, it's likely something stuck inside. It's been sitting at a thrift store for some months before I bought it.

I've been locked out of my Flickr for the past 4 days now and have been spending at least 3 hours a day trying to regain access. I know that I'm using the correct username and password without a doubt yet when logging in it will get past the username screen, prompt me for my password, then tell me it's incorrect. I tried resetting my password which goes a bit like this, prompts me for my username, enter it, tells me the username is not found.
The strangest part is that I'm still logged into my account on my iPhone yet I cannot log into it from anywhere else. I've contacted yahoo support on multiple places (Twitter, email, forums) telling them exactly what I'm saying here and they basically just tell me to use the password reset form and then close my case. I'm now contacting them via email a third time and I'm doubtful they will do anything.
I've even tried proxying my account to other servers to see if it was an issue with the east coast servers but that did not do anything.
Does anyone know how I can regain access to my account and is anyone else having issues with Flickr? This is absolute bullshit that they won't help for shit.
I want to also mention once again that I am 100% certain of what my username and password is. There is not a single doubt in my mind that this is not incorrect. I used the same credentials to login a few days prior to getting locked out.

I've heard this so many times; you're probably being a retard. That's my considered professional opinion. The only people who use phrases like that are the ones who are typing their shit in wrong.
Are you using the email address you used to sign up with? Yahoo services are usually expecting am address.
How do you handle highlights in high contrast scenes with digital? On film they look softer and colored lights are more likely to retain their colors. Meanwhile on digital...
>>2957494
the core of the highlights shift to a brighter color or white.
What do?

So, who /modorpike/ here?
I just got in the mail a tiny tripod, a Nanomax 400T IIRC (of which I already changed the head), but I'm not really satisfied... I wish I could bring with me my regular sized tripod, it is just more stable, but I have no Idea how to safely pack it when riding, since it doesn't fit my backpack (at least the nanomax fits in perfectly, even with my other head...).
Any ideas and/or better tiny tripods in mind?

ig, friend?
I find that I am always doing the same things in post -- increase contrast, increase saturation, increase sharpness. Sometimes I increase brightness, sometimes I decrease it to get exposure how I want it. Try to make sure I don't have my highlights or shadows too light/dark.
I make photos that people that don't know anything about photography really like. But I know that you guys would shit on them. What should I be focusing on in post?

>What should I be focusing on in post?
You should be focusing on what is necessary for the photo.
Also, that edit is a shitty shade of yellow vomit.
Stop trying to stylize your shit and just focus on making it look lifelike. That's hard enough. Once you've mastered that, focus on new things.
And stop oversharpening.
>>2956729
That color looks like piss, and you went WAY the fuck overboard with the burning on the trees that were overexposed.
I went to a Halloween party the other day and took my camera. I took a lot of great pictures and edited them in lightroom and posted the best ones on Facebook. Why do people think is ok to ask for all the original pictures? Like they are heavy as fuck, and they are not paying me to take them!!
Why do they think is so fucking easy?
How do you make these fuckers understand?
Do other photographers experience the same?
1) You wouldn't have any photos worth posting if they hadn't worked their ass off to make costumes. If anything, you owe it to them.
2) Your photos probably fucking suck if Facebook is your platform of choice. You aren't going to make any money off of them, so why are you being so uptight about it?
>>2956704
I think I did my part by sharing them on Facebook they can save them from there if they want, they don't have a watermark or anything.
Facebook is just so they can see them not because I like the platform, I think I've done more than enough.
