I'm actually pissed off by this. The Donald was going to just EO-approve on-base CCW, but who knows now that the DOD will go "well we have a policy already". Even though this garbage policy only lets you if the CC gives permission and only for 90 days at a time. Horseshit.

So, got a cool little Arisaka Type 38 carbine. The Cabelas i bought it from told me it fired 6.5x50, everywhere else i double checked also said this as well so i bought 2 boxes from Graf and Sons. Fed and ejected properly so i figured all was well. First shot went up in smoke (peppered my face with unspent gunpowder and a piece is also stuck in the white of my eye). Gun is fine, thankfully, and rather than go to an eye docter I'd rather find out with the fuck is up.
Upon further investigation; the bullet got stuck at the base of the barrel, when i tried feeding the bullet in from the muzzle the bullets dont even fit. Could this be a bad batch when the bullet was casted or could i have an oddly chambered rifle?

I'd love a semi DPM but I don't have a way to build the kit. IIRC SMG Guns used to assemble DP-28/DPM kits for you, I don't think they do that anymore though.

Got my first gun today: Mossberg 500 Maverick 88. Do you guys think it's a good beginner's gun? The only other guns I've shot are black powder rifles.

also, If you happen to be knowledgeable about this particular shotgun, I have a few questions.
1. When I was taking it apart, I noticed the Trigger Locking Pin did not come out as easily as it seemed to in the videos, I had to hammer it out a little bit (maybe I'm just weak but...)
2. The Trigger Mechanism did not go in as easily as it seemed to in the videos.
I'm willing to guess maybe they weren't lubricated enough or rather I just wasn't doing it exactly right, but I was curious what you guys thought.

Parking at street corners without mutual support from other IFV's, or having an infantry screen.
Which is bad tactics, but bad tactics the Russians seem quite fond of, considering it was pretty much the only thing they did with armored vehicles during the entirety of the Afghan, Chechen, and Ukrainian conflicts.
And when they (quite naturally) got their shit pushed in by RPG's and recoilless rifles sitting out in the open quite helpless, they incorrectly assumed that heavier armor was the solution instead of not sitting out in the open being helpless.
