How does /k/ feel about purchasing restrictions for non-citizens? I'm a permanent resident who's
lived in the US for most of my life, but citizenship is cost-prohibitive and comes with some downsides
(most notably having to pay income tax if I leave the States). Given that most of you are
Constitution-nuts and the 14th amendment guarantees me the rights of a citizen, it would seem
putting different restrictions on me because of my immigration status would full under "infringement".
In case anyone is wondering what I'm talking about, at least in VA I can't buy pic related.
My grandmother is a permanent resident and owns more guns than me; and i own a lot of fucking guns. I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
>Not paying taxes
Yeah, you don't deserve guns.

The 14th Amendment was a mistake.

Also, the 14th Amendment doesn't make you a citizen.
Just got back from this. Can we discuss it here?
I noticed in the movie that the Japans tended to use only bolt-action rifles whereas the Americans tended to use a mixture of submachine guns and automatic rifles. Is this accurate? Why didn't the Japanese issue any squad-level machine guns? If they had enough expertise to make battleships, then making submachine guns should have been a piece of cake. Did they just not "get it"? Did they not understand the benefits of having soldiers be individually more effective? Their only tactics throughout the entire movie was just to charge positions with lots of dudes to try and win through superior numbers. But the American soldiers usually had enough firepower to compensate for being outnumbered.
Japan really only had bolt guns and machine guns.
They had a few sub-machine guns but they jammed a lot

It's barely more accurate than "Windtalkers".

What are the best glock custom shops in the EU?
I don't mean just swapping parts, but actually modifying slides & barrels. Even better if they make their own OEM slides.
I know plenty in the USA, but exporting from the USA is a huge fucking pain and most shops don't want to bother. (importing is easy as pie though)

Do they still call it an aircraft carrier if it runs out of aircraft?
At this rate, we'll know in a month.
>>32090001
Is there any reason, besides dickwaving, for Kuznetsov to be there?
Its not like they don't have any airbases around there.
>>32090298
There are three other likely reasons; to give the Russian Navy valuable real-world operational experience, to demonstrate to other countries that Russia is capable of expeditionary carrier operations, and to demonstrate Russian naval weapons for future export as proven systems.
The USA is hardly free from dickwaving as well, like the use of the F-22 for the first time. Not necessary, but kinda awesome anyway.

https://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/lockheed-awarded-12-billion-for-korean-f-16-upgra-431685/
After a lengthy negotiating process, the South Korean government awarded a $1.2 billion contract to upgrade 134 Lockheed Martin F-16C/Ds to the F-16V standard, the US Department of Defense announced on 18 November.
The award comes more 16 months after the US State Department cleared South Korea to purchase the upgrade package, which includes the Northrop Grumman APG-81 Scalable Agile Beam Radar (SABR), new modular mission computers, upgraded electronic warfare suites and second generation joint helmet mounted cueing systems.
The finalized deal comes as a coup for Lockheed, which snatched the contract last year from BAE Systems and radar supplier, Raytheon, following a cost dispute. In 2012, BAE won the upgrade contract over original F-16 manufacturer Lockheed Martin.
But BAE’s true costs surprised Seoul, when the US government demanded an additional W500 billion ($473 million) and BAE asked for W300 billion.
Lockheed will upgrade one single-seat C-model and one twin-seat D model KF-16 to the latest version configuration, the F-16V, before moving onto the remaining 132 aircraft, FlightGlobal previously reported.
Those two fighters were delivered to the US after BAE’s selection fell through.

After the radars will be upgraded in the future, " Stealth" will become obsolete.
>>32090512
>The stealth is binary meme
Even if the detection range advantages of radar low observable aircraft are eroded, with the range of BVR weapons coming into service getting ever longer, it is likely that there will be enough of an advantage will remain that a stealthy aircraft will be able to fire on a non-stealthy aircraft first. Especially since stealth & EW against radar systems technology will also be improved over the same time-frame.

Hey guys the FBI showed up at my work because I was moving my ammo (lots of ammo in cans and creates like 7n6) and some neighbors called them. They interviewed me and tried to get consent to search my house. I told them no and they ended the interview right there. They said I wasn't a suspect any crime but would not tell me if I am under investigation. Should I be concerned? Should I seek legal consul? Also they told me I wasn't going to be put on a no fly list when asked but how can I tell if they are lying?

Today, we review the WORST weapon ever adopted by a military ever.
The M16.
The tale of this shit sandwich, starts with the Air Force.
Let that sink in.
The Air Force, selected the service rifle for the American military.
That is like the Army, selecting a submarine for the Navy.
And it just gets worse.
How this weapon came to the attention of Air Force General Curtis LeMay.
Gen. LeMay, adopted multiple strategies that fucked the US.
Only Missile armed F-4's, focusing on bombers instead of ICBM's.
Now how the M16 was adopted is even more shady.
A representative of Colt, who had just purchased the AR-15 from Armalite, was invited to a 4th of July barbeque.
The representative, who had a AR-15 in the trunk, offered to let LeMay shoot the weapon.
He did, and killed two innocent watermelons.
LeMay, impressed by the explosion the 5.56 made, adopted the M16 on the spot.
OK. Let's get this straight. A AIR FORCE General, without ANY testing adopted a rifle for combat.
Now the US Army, protested the action.
In trials the M16 failed reliability test's over and over.
However, this was going to get worse. McNamara...
That motherfucker.
The faggot, responsible for the shitstorm the was Veitnam.
McNamara, wanted the US military to streamline, however he had NO idea what he was doing.
The first XM16's in Veitnam had impossibly good reports.
The 5.56 rounds ripping off limbs, and punching fist sized holes through VC.
Now we know this is impossible.
However, the corruption was too deeply rooted to stop.
After the M16 was put in mass issue, the truth came out.
US soldiers, and Marines, were found dead by jammed M16's.
The VC, who would use sharp STICKS, covered in SHIT, would NOT pick them up.
Any defense of this rifle, is inexcusable.
The ONLY people who like this rifle, are 3 gun faggots who have never used it in combat.
Anyone ever used moly resin before?
I'm thinking about refinishing my a1 build in grayish black
I know /k/ is the easiest board to troll, but this is some of weakest bait I've ever seen
>>32094458
Yea, I agree. The AR-18 was a better gun all around but Colt shilled the army with millions of dollars to keep the giant turd. Then we just give away M16s to third world country's just to keep the AR-18 being successfull.
It sucks that we use it, the AR-18 is a better gun in everyway.
how important is it to clean one's gun? does it vary depending on the caliber? seems .223 would require less cleaning since the cartridges have more power, but I'm just guessing
