Home-made straight-pull bolt action in 7.62x54mmR. I can then make a MKII that is gas-op once I work the kinks out with the straight-pull. I have the trigger, dual-sear, and bolt carrier worked out so far. I'm really over-engineering the bolt because I am dealing with 390MPa of max pressure. Don't want to end up like that idiot with the Arisaka bullet shard in his eye.
Imma getting cans on cans on cans if trump un-NFAs them
If he doesn't, I'll just get one for the Ruger SR9C

My favorite handgun is the Glock. The slogan of Glock is perfection because they are perfect. The definition of perfect is "having all the required or desirable elements, qualities, or characteristics; as good as it is possible to be." Glocks are perfect.
The Glock 17 was the first Glock because it holds 17 bullets in the magazine. Gaston Glock is the inventor of Glock. Gaston Glock made curtain rods but wanted a gun. Gaston Glock made Glock knives but they were not good at first. With better heat treating they became good but not that good. They are good for the money like a Glock which is perfect.
In 1983 Glock invented the shovel. In 1988 Glock invented the Glock 19 which is named 2 more than the Glock 17 but is 2 less. The movie Die Hard was invented in 1988. Bruce Willis thinks that Glocks are made out of pottery lol.
The Glock can be buried in mud for up to forever and it will still function.

>The Glock 17 was the first Glock because it holds 17 bullets in the magazine
Wrong. Glock 17 was named the 17 because it was the first Glock made. Notice how the newest designed glocks have later model numbers than the oldest model ones.
>>32086492
The Glock rifling is also polygonal rifling because the barrel is not round. It is polygonal like in an old video game on an playstation 1. This saves money in production because it is an older technology.
>>32086522
Wrong.
Any soldiers on right now? What was/is your MOS?
Pic related, I'm 92A, so I guess I'm basically infantry.
>>32085803
>basically infantry
You gonna need bigger bait

0311 here (former). No, I can speak for my 11 bros. You either are, or ain't.
>>32085831
What do you mean?
Every soldier is a rifleman right?
So every soldier is pretty much infantry.
>limp-wrist it once
>stovepipe
What did they mean by this? How do I make sure i'm not going to limp wrist in a life threatening situation?
>>32085772
it's 9mm kiddo, what do you mean you limp wristed it?
come back when youre not a frail 7 year old child i guess
>>32085772
if you missed the first shot in a life threatening situation you already fucked up
>>32085792
noguns pls
the fact that it's 9mm is what makes it prone to limpwristing
It would be easy to make.
Well, it WAS effective against robots in Fallout Tactics.....
>>32085694
No, Chloroform takes a while to be effective and needs to be inhaled.
Pepper spray would be better than that in any situation
>>32085694
You could probably clean a pool.
Why didn't people attach bulletproof screens that extend from the sides of tanks to support infantry advances in WW1 and 2?
>>32085522
Screens have holes in them dumbass the bullets would go right through it
because a tank surrounded by foot mobiles is a very juicy target for artillery and mortars
>>32085544
As if a tank isn't already a prime fucking target
Hello /k/!
I'm from Slovenia, the Fatherland of your First lady to be.
How do you, fellow Americans, perceive our army?
Any experiences with our guys?
>>32085068
Never served with any of ya. I served with an Estonian who joined the US Marines. He was good to go.
Lived in maribor for a year, girls and weather was top tier.
cant say shit about the army
guys my granddad gave me this old 357 and the bullets are kinda expensive obvio and my friend says his uncle is a pro gunsmith and can convert it to shoot 38 for only fifty bucks is that a good deal?

>relatives' friends going hunting at their private land

>only have mossberg 500 and bare bones colt AR with MBUS
What game can you hunt with .223/5.56? I know practically nothing about hunting and horror stories on /k/ about brown bears tanking shots makes me pretty nervous.
Also my Mossberg 500 can sometimes freeze after a shot so I don't trust it as much.
>>32083488
Anything under a whitetail.
>>32083488
Up to deer. Not ideal for deer, but very much capable of taking one.
>>32083488
You'll be good for deer with that ar. Shot placement is king in hunting anyway, and anyone that says that you need a .30-'06 for whitetail is spouting fuddlore.

Remember kids, when you're working out don't straighten your legs to 90 degrees because it could become 98 degrees of fun.

>Wants to be a pilot
>Scared of constipation
Something tells me you don't know much about becoming a pilot. You know why the other military branches make fun of the air foce? Most airmen are pogs or permanently on the ground (people other than grunts for other branches). Becoming a pilot is extremely difficult and competition is extremely high. Not to burst your bubble but even if you did overcome your hard poo poo fear and became an airmen, 4/5 chance you will not ever be a pilot, especially a fighter pilot. That's probably the most competitive one of all.

Lmao, what a fucking embarrassment. Why do these mongols even bother having navy anyway? Might as well go with one rusty tugboat as your flagman ship at this point.
Yes, we know the new US warships are crap. No need to play coy about it.
is this your joke then. running on both pol and k then?
