My raifu is an original 1895 South African Republic Mauser captured by a canadian trooper during the boer war and brought back as a trophy.
Metal's mint, stocks been through hell.

A British No. 1 Mk. III rebarreled with RFI stamps, but they rebarreled it to .303 again. Not rare, but neat nonetheless.

Who makes the best level IIIA and below soft body armor/carrier?
Who makes the best level III/III+ body armor/carrier?
Who makes the best level IV body armor/carrier?
For the first two, AR-500 apparently does some really nice, budget-priced but highly-effective rigs. Lots of people have put up excellent reviews on YouTube and other sites, and they're generally known as being great to do business with. I would get some of my own if I had my own property (and no questions like "Anon, why do you own this assault armor?!?!?!??").

Not sure about Level IV, though. I know they have Level IV armor on their site, but I haven't heard much about it. You planning to go on a deep raid into Monolith territory, Stalker?

I'm surrounded by a city full of dark skinned criminals with illegal guns that regularly chant "KILL WHITE PEOPLE" online/in the streets while the police shrug and do nothing while Trump is about to become President.
I may get shot at in the near future and would like to survive getting hit by a bullet if that happens.
AR500 III+ lightweight with the extra paxcon coating and a trauma pad does seem to be the best overall from what I've seen. I know level IV is lighter and will stop everything, but how many ribs will be broken after it stops penetration and are there any non-THICC options?
>>32714332
If I were you, I'd go with my gut. All of these will effectively stop pistol rounds, which are what in a defensive situation you would most likely encounter, along with all types of shot and most FMJ/AP rifle rounds up to and including .30-06.
Regardless of the color of a criminal's skin, I think that anything more than a soft vest would help in the case of a home invasion.
For pistol rounds, btw, I doubt you'll break any ribs on any of these plates. I'd be surprised if you dealt with any violence, to say less of coming across much beyond that.

Would be nice if they didn't use that ugly tan color. So what is it going to be designated, M12, M14 pistol?

The lgs by me has an older model Wingmaster 870 20" 12ga. Looks in good shape, no cracks in the furniture. I think they're asking 375 or 350.
Worth picking up to give it a good home? I'm gonna stop by again today to see if I can get more information on it. Any known issues on the older ones?
>>32713402
the old one are good to go IMO.
For 350? Go for it!

Really want to get a topper. What are disadvantages to hunting hogs with a single barell? Any chance of getting charged? Is this a good gun to leave on my hot car for days at a time? Are they good for the money?
600 bux down the shitter. All just to hear old ass grouchy fags compare antennas like they were comparing dick size.
Don't waste your money fellas...
spoiler: they were actually comparing their dicks
Yeah, ham culture is cancer; like little fucking kids trying to get other people prosecuted and becoming butthurt if you don't adhere to their made up rules/culture.
Just get licensed and carry a handheld radio for improved short range communications over those gay frs/gmrs ones. Then use their autistic rules against them and hog their own repeaters when you need to. Cite FCC rules about free usage of airwaves if they whine about it.
>>32713384
Tell me more about HAM radio culture. Why is it shit?
What's the best anti-aircraft system in the world atm?
>>32713006
Another aircraft.
>>32713006
A good fighter aircraft.
Otherwise, the AEGIS.
There arent any yet.
The day when any AA system can ground any aircraft at any time is the day when aircraft in the military become obsolete, which is never, or not yet.

You're gonna help Mulder and Scully take down some ayys. What sidearm does your character carry?
>>32712382
noisy cricket
>>32712382
Obrez loaded with API. When the round keyholes and does its thing, it leaves holes with a diameter of approximately 4 feet. Since ayys are only about 4 feet tall to start with, they'll be removed from existence when I blat them with my gat, which is great for plausible deniability.

Back in the day(lets say 1700-1899) were soldiers able to pick what type of soldier they wanted to be? For example could a man rock up to a recruiting office in Europe and ask to be a Cavalryman, Infantryman, artilleryman etc etc. Even more so could they choose their specific job within those roles ie: Heavy cavalry, light cavalry, light horse, rifleman/marksmen, light infantry, guardsman, grenadier etc etc?
This is doesn't necessarily have to be about the British Army.
Not really, unless you were the child of a wealthy and/or noble family who attended a military academy to become a career artillery officer or cavalryman or whatever.
>>32712181
>cavalryman
On that note how did the cavalry recruit its ranks? Only rich men could ride an down horses. And all rich men had to become officers. So how did they find enlisted soldiers for cavalry regiments?
>>32712181
a lot of those guys couldn't read, so they were told what to do and they did it. Kind of like today's armies.
Now that the Sig P320 has won the new Army contract, this old girl can now rest it's head.
Tell me how you honestly feel about the M9?
>What did you like?
>What did you hate?
>>32712115
Never quite lived up to the reputation of the gun it replaced.
>>32712115
Good riddance. Beretta is junk. Broken barrel blocks and inconsistent trigger pulls.
If you like the M9 and think its a great service pistol, you don't know guns.
