even got arrested in Australia prior to 96 because he brought a 1911 from overseas and called female Australian journos "a buck and a half hookers"
im australian and i 100% agree with that
Surprisingly enough, Ice-T is extremely pro-gun

I think there's a video where he talks about the 2nd ammendment on YouTube.

Politicians like to push the narrative that black communities are anti-gun when in reality many are pro-gun because they know the cops can't adequately deal with the gang problems.
Hey /k/, I recently got a 1954 Tula SKS that came with a railed dust cover. Where would be the best place to get a regular non-serial dust cover?
What's the best carry position + handgun size setup for IWB carry for average height thin individuals? I'm talking 6'0" ~160lbs wearing standard fit clothes.
Also, is it a good idea to wear slightly baggier pants than usual with a tight belt for IWB carry?

5 o'clock (assuming you're right handed). Get a gun as only big as you actually will be able to reliably carry; a smaller gun you can carry more often is better than a bigger gun you carry less often. Get pants an inch or two bigger than normal.
How much would it cost to have a shotgun drilled and tapped for sights?

Snow Meet Edition
[Date]: February 25th (Single Day)
[Location]: Placerville McDonalds Parking Lot
[Time]:Rally at 9AM, Departure at 10AM
In the runup to the Lucky Slav Meetup in May we're going to be trying out some new spots, and this is one of them. After we leave the McDonalds parking lot at 10AM we're going to be convoy'ing up the 50 into the high sierras and turn off onto Ice House Rd and continue on to find someplace to hang out for the day.
-----------------------
SUPER IMPORTANT SHIT READ THIS NIGGER:
This is gonna be a tricky meet to pull off since we have 4WD conditions.... but not everyone has a 4WD. Bring chains in case you need them no matter what. If you don't have 4WD, bring one rifle as you'll likely be riding with someone else who does and you won't want to be making trips back to your vehicle. If you're bringing something with 4WD, please allow some space to carry passengers.
We also request people bring tables, some firewood, tarps to catch brass, and some targets.
--------------------------
If you'd like to keep track of when we're doing meets and where, I strongly suggest joining Slack (it's basically a chatroom) where we hang out, play games, and plan these meetups in detail. If you'd like to join, post a burner email in the thread and I or one of the other admins will send you an invite.
FUTURE MEETUPS:
In addition to the snow meet here, we have more that are either planned or in the works.
[5th PANOCHE]
Yep. Another damn Panoche meet. This one is great for those who are too poor to go to Lucky Slav but still want to get in on the meets.
Date: TBD, Late March/Early April
[LUCKY SLAV HOTEL]
Meetup in an abandoned fucking ghost town. Do. Not. Miss. Everyone who has been agrees that it makes the rest of the meetup spots look like shit.
Date: May 25th - May 28th

Wish we had mods like /a/ edition

The /a/ mod is literally mentally ill though. It was a big scandal last year.
It's universally acknowledged among shooters that a lighter trigger is one of the surest ways to improve practical accuracy, so why do so many gun manufacturers continue to make guns with heavy triggers? I have no special attachment to the 1911, but I ended up buying one simply because I cannot find another design with a lightweight trigger. Are there gun buyers who sit around saying to themselves
>Gee, I really wish my gun were harder to shoot accurately
Is this some kind of conspiracy to keep gunsmiths in business? What's going on?

>>32744558
Your defensive handgun is not the same as your riced up competition gun.
>>32744574
You're right. Accuracy is even MORE important in a gunfight, so a defensive handgun should have an even lighter trigger.

Convince NOT to buy this 1911 (I've never owned a 1911 before)

Hahahaha wtf? Are you dumb? Springfield is as American as Apple pie.
>>32743089
.45 can get pricey
Springfield brand holsters and magazine holsters are garbage, don't let that factor into your purchase
You're probably going to want more magazines than that, depending on how long you usually spend at the range
buy it faggot, it's gorgeous and Springfield makes great 1911s
Is DA/SA dead?
No popular carry guns or guns in general these days are DA/SA, even CZs newest pistol launch is striker and Sigs military pistol is striker.
Have Glock fags convinced everyone that a 5 pound trigger pull with no safety is the perfect option for everyone?
>>32741553
I have masturbated to Anzu's collarbones.
I will do so again now, thanks OP.
>Have Glock fags convinced everyone that a 5 pound trigger pull with no safety is the perfect option for everyone?
I am a huge advocate of DA/SA and regularly shoot my P226.
I do carry a Glock 19 with a gadget scd on the way that gives me the safety of a DA/SA without the excess weight or bulk of what you would typically find on a DA/SA gun.
There is still a market for DA/SA guns like the Legion line of Sigs, Wilson Combat and the new PX4 Compact Carry that I'm on the fence on getting.
>>32741651
All those guns are Xbox hueg for carry. Maybe you can get away with aiwb in baggy clothing but it's not going to work like a single stack 9

What's the best AR for under 1,000?
I was considering an M&P15 But I've heard some mixed reviews about it.

PSA premium upper + PSA finished lower.
If you really want to spend more get a BCM upper of your choice. Outside of the stock, the lower doesn't matter.

>>32739471
This almost.
The trigger matters a good bit.
Do these things "feel comfortable" if you know what I mean?
I can't imagine it would feel good but if your dicks small enough to fit than with enough lube it would work.

One time I would like an answer on /k/ that's not a half assed attempt at being funny
>>32738887
I think they're fine just from my experience of holding one. I have never fired one with that brace but the sig brace on an AK pistol seems normal. It didn't feel noticeably different from a regular stock.
Would a spear help negate a significant difference in size between two fighters? Or can a smaller fighter learn to use larger weapons (claymores, axes, ect.) effectively?
Fighting pick
>>32737550
gun is best choice
The truth is size and strength will matter in melee no matter what you do. If the size difference is large you might be able to swing at their legs/gut while your opponent is forced to fight downward.
Find a buddy and you both get swords, have buddy lay on ground and swing at your shins. He might not be able to move, but it isn't easy for you to swing so low and reach far at the same time without getting hit in the shins.
Don't fight from the ground against a standing enemy, the guy on the ground is still disadvantaged.

I guess just pick the weapon you like and get better at it
