Is atlantic firearms going to give me a wasr with straight sights? If not I'll get one at a show or lgs that way I can check it myself.
A friend of a friend is selling his norinco np18.
He wants $250 for the gun and an extra magazine. Is it worth it? I don't own any chinese guns and iv'e heard stories about norinco's quality control.
>>32826849
I don't see why not, Norinco actually had really good quality control, the only guns that had problems were guns they redesigned to fire a different cartridge, like the Norinco 213 (TT-33 rechambered for 9mm).
>>32826849
I'd pay it. Norinco is hard to find because of the china import ban.
If you hate leftism and globalism like a true /k/ommando, don't buy things made in other countries if you have the option not to do so.
Are the record Saudi orders for ATGMs and their ongoing use by IS in any way linked?
Wouldn't surprise me.
While I doubt the higher level of Saudi government is directly involved in funding and supplying terrorism, I believe that there are enough rich oil barrons with enough governmental ties to place orders for military grade hardware and in turn supply it to their special interests.
>>32826827
Absolutely. The Saudis fund any Sunni extremist group they can.
>>32826866
They are involved up to the highest level. They have been spreading Wahhabism unchecked for years now.
The liveleak videos aren't ISIS, they're JaN or al-Nusra front, or some affiliated group.
Best U.S.-based vendor for German militaria? Doesn't have to be original, just good quality. I generally use IMA but I'm looking for some armbands, gorgets and the like. Any suggestions?
Bump for interest
>>32826817
That one guy at the gunshow.
At The Front makes some good stuff, but I reenact allied so I don't know how their German stuff holds up
IMA is shit
however, if you're just looking for shit with Swastikas on it, I suggest you go back to >>>/pol/
There isn't a knife General going right now.
Let's see your patinas. Anyone got anything cool ?

What the shit is this? Compact weapon lights have baby lumens? Anyone have experience with the TLR4? Is it worth sacrificing dem lumens for the more compact setup? Or should I stick with a TLR-2 HL?
Pistol has a 3.5" barrel
>>32826468
They're for pistols with short rails like the PX4 Compact.
I wouldn't bother with them and just get a handheld light in the 300-1,000 lumen range. If I'm going to have added bulk on my carry gun, it's going to be something worthwhile like a TLR 2 HL or X300U.
What handgun is it?
>>32826506
FNS-9c
I guess I'm going with the TLR-2 HL. I'm pretty sold on upgrading to a weapon mounted light. Aaron makes compelling arguments https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5Ii29Q89Sg
Also, why the fuck is the Inforce such low lumen so such a big light? Am I missing something?
I has one >pic related
The light itself is fine. Not a fan of lasers so I never use it that feature. Would rather have the TLR-1 to save bulk. (This one was a gift. Mom&Dad's heart was in the right place).

Looking for the best budget rifle for SHTF scenario
5.56 or 7.62x39 preferred
Reliability + accuracy preferred -- Commiefornia restrictions
Thank you /k/
>>32825728
SKS is probably your best bet. And accuracy wise, golden tiger is the ammo I'd buy.
The sks has a longer sight radius than typical 762x39 guns, so it's easier to be accurate than a typical ak.
Second for sks, good rifle and the price has come down a little

The more I get into gun and look at the laws the sillier it gets. The sks is c&r eligible. How does that work? You can't have a pistol grip and removable magazine at the same time. There are like zero lemon laws for firearms. Who makes these laws? They all just seem so random.
>>32825167
>You can't have a pistol grip and removable magazine at the same time.
What?
I mean, rifle is fine; pls no bubba
But search armslist for "SKS" and this is what you find.

>>32825167
If you purchase the rifle with your C&R03 you can't bubba it.
What do you guys think?
>>32825096

I'm guessing it's a fine shooter, even if it's not the prettiest.

That bipod is going to make the rifle jump all over the place when you're shooting.
I know the milsurp is drying up, but I just got a 54r and I was wondering where /k/'s fellow nuggetheads had the best luck buying food.

But if you can find a local deal that's better. Go for it.
Personally, I'm not a fan of ammo over 150gr. I like faster/flatter shooting stuff that mostly matches the flight path of surplus.
Hard to say if surplus 54r will ever come back, but lets hope.
If I had my choice in 54r ammo, I'd go with the LVE headstamped stuff being sold under the wolf name currently.
>>32824782
I haven't bought nugget food in a long time. Then again I haven't shot my nugget in a long time.
I have a few boxes of new production ammo and a case of surplus that I can shoot through.

Thank you much, I just got back into gun ownership and of course I choose something that eats special snowflake ammo.
Magdumping mosin fireballs will be fun, though.
