Just picked up a Surefire M600U, tail cap switch, and some Noveske NSR covers. Should I keep my setup as is (45 degree mount with 2 NSR panels removed) or get an inline keymod mount for the light, trim the two extra panels, and attach them to the rail?

Also, keep the panels flush on bottom or add a handstop?

In the first team of firefighters, none came out alive.
One of them was found in a deep coma the day after.
He was oxygenated to treat him of carbon monoxyd and died because of that (or despite that, as you wish).

In the second team of firefighters, which was equipped with autonomous respirators, only one went into a coma because he took off his mask.

They treated him for cyanide and saved him.


Now the fun part :
When they learned that the second team went missing, they had to wait for the following morning to try to save them.

In my opinion, the whole point of having a gun is to "get the jump" on someone trying to harm me. But if they see I'm carrying, they can skip the threat phase and immediately either hold me up, take my gun and everything else I'm wearing, and leave me in the dirt; OR they can just shoot me and run.

There is no such thing as an effective and easily concealed knife proof vest.

I'm a Scotfag coo on a trials team and we've tested dozens. They're all bulk, difficult to conceal and have weaknesses. Also, piercing is not the same as stab / slash / blunt trauma. We have a requirement for piercing from junkie needles.

We even looked briefly at the concept of wearing only the cover to make the attacker strike a different part of the body.

So yeah, no, there isn't one. Hawk stuff is the best so far.

Panzer 4 was good but the Panther tank was a better investment.
Tigers were too expensive.

AFAIK (I'm not an expert, so tak what I write as you will) the crews hated the sideskirts due to their fragile attachment points. While the gun was good, the armor was behind par by the end of the war. This was the result of a series of increases in thickness that led to the engine being overburdened by the end of the PzIV's production cycle. By far the best feature it had was its magnificent sighting system (both periscopes and gun sights), giving it a superb situational awareness and a good edge on long distance shooting when compared to the T34.

Compared to a Sherman, I don't know enough about the differences between Ausf. A-H to tell you, but it had the advatage of a much lower silhouette (with a much less broad front glacis, even though that helped crew survivability in the M4) and the disadvantage of lacking a stabilised gun.

There is no objective best or worst when it comes to tonks. Just enjoy your tankfu.

If you're bringing guns into the state from outside, you're absolutely fine with owning them without any permits or anything so long as all the firearms conform to NJ state law, although it's not a bad idea to apply for an FPID if you're going to be in NJ for the foreseeable future. Don't bring any magazines above 15 rounds. Don't bring any "assault weapons." By assault weapons, I mean don't bring anything that's banned by the state by name, and anything else must conform to the AWB. The AWB defines an assault weapon as a weapon that has 2 or more "evil features." These features are a pistol grip, bayonet lug, flash hider, telescoping/extendable stock, and grenade launchers. You can have an AR or AK with a pistol grip, but it must not have any of the other features. This law only applies to semi-auto guns though.

If you want to purchase anything in state, you'll need to have an FPID for purchasing shotguns, rifles, and I believe handgun ammo, and to purchase pistols you need to apply for an individual pistol purchase permit for each pistol you intend to buy, and you can only buy one each 30 days. The permits only last 90 days + a 90 day extension if you ask for it and get it approved, so the most you can realistically get at one time is 6 permits unless you apply for an exemption. Forget about carrying unless you're insanely rich or a politician. The state will not issue to people unless you take a court case against them, and even then it'll only be to get you thrown off the case so they can say "See we issue permits, you don't need to strike down our bullshit laws :^)"
