Dont know where to post this.
I'm Air Force. Enlisted after graduating college last may. Now, I know everyone would say "why not go officer" well I didnt fucking want to. I didnt want to do 6 years...hell I didnt really know what i was getting into so I got a good ASVAB score and got a good job in cyber. I have a 5 year plan and this is a start.
Anyways not my point.
My supervisor is a fucking dick.
He was my sponser when I got at this base and he was really nice at first. Now, he is ALWAYS finding something wrong that I might do or he thinks I will do. Even when I prove him I did something right he finds something wrong.
I'm always on egg shells when I'm at work. I'm fucking miserable to the point all I want to do is drink and sit in my room.
No other NCO in my shop is like this
I dont know what to do that wont further make him a dick.
I know that's the advice that everyone will give me
I'm so fucking stressed
Holy shit

The only difference between your workplace and mine is that I can tell my manager (I am a supervisor) to fornicate himself with an iron stick and 360 right the fuck out of there.
Does anyone remember this guy from YouTube a few years ago used to have some awesome videos especially on his mentality stuff wondering if anyone knows where the videos might be archived on the net still?

Is anyone here an EMT/paramedic? What's the work like?
I'm an office worker in my mid 20's, becoming disillusioned with working for a globalist corporation that makes the world a worse place. I want to do something that would make me proud of myself and help people. Joining the army in this country would mean travelling to Africa or the middle east to do police work for a bunch of dindus under the UN, I probably wouldn't have the health for it either. Thought about maybe first aid work? I have occupational first aid training, thought it was really interesting.

Irish?

Yep

I myself am not one, I did use to see them every day, multiple times a day (I worked in the ER) was always told that they don't do it for the pay (most places pay shit) that you do it usually as a stepping stone, or cause you want to truly help ppl.
What you do for them when you show up on scene, could be enough so they can get to a hospital for real help. You're also gonna have to get use to lifting heavy as fuck ppl, lifting those heavy as fuck ppl from awkward positions.
I often wonder how much protection they did/were meant to offer? I find the idea of clothes which double somewhat towards protection quite interesting really. They probably wouldn't stop a direct thrust, but a glancing slash or thrust?
You have:
>The leather stocks
>Thick epaulettes on the shoulders
>Thick cuffs
>Buff leather crossbelts which covered the shoulders and chest and a brass plate in the centre
>Gorgets, such as they were
>The plates and metal chinstraps on the shakos
What does /k think?

10/22 or model 60 sb?
I'm looking to pick up a cheap plinker and noticed walmart had a nice looking model 60sb for around 170 I believe. They also had a 10/22 with a synthetic stock. I'm more of a wood guy myself but wasn't sure if the quality of marlin went down since being bought out by remington. Or would paying more for the ruger be the better choice?
>>32826943
10/22 with manlicker stock.
>>32826943
marlin 795.
>>32826943
My vote is for a Ruger 10/22. Higher capacity and accuracy isn't going to be that much more amazing. Though.. I did shoot an older model 60 that was scary accurate. Not sure how hit or miss they are now compared to Ruger.
